i have a different error. when i go to run it parallels says it will run slow because visualization is disabled, then it says it can't load the parallels driver, and it won't start. what do i do?
@sohungsum Right click on the Parallels Dock Icon. Then Options -> Assign To -> This Desktop will fix this issue. (Create a Dock Icon if you don't have one). Hope this helps

@sreejithemk If I right click on Parallels icon in my dock, and go to Options, there are only 3 options. "Keep in Dock", "Open at login" and "Show in Finder"
@sreejithemk No, those are the options when it is running also. The real solution is to delete all your "Spaces" except the main one, then shut down and restart Parallels and the VM window will be visible again.
There is a known issue w/ "spaces." Check out their KB article #111614 on their KB site.

Another issue : go in mission control app and delete all space, just take one, reboot, and relaunch parallels, it's ok too. (faq from parallels)

How do I assign the window to desktop then?

@niall111 First you have to just click the icon to open the application. Once its started, you'll get the options when you right click.

@niall111 Assigning Desktop solved the issue in my case. According to @Lougi95 thats a solution given by Parallels.

It turns out that it was a problem with desktop assignment. Somehow it was set to None.
