  • You know of someone who can tie it for me that lives in or around Queens NY?

  • Go to our website: tekhelet and then- in the left hand menu bar click on "Tzitzit Tying Bureau" - there you get a list of all the people aroundthe world that know how to tie tekhelet.

  • I'm trying to see how you made the knot on the intial run through on the corner of the talit. You start and there is already some tying done, but thanks for the tying you did.

  • The description assures that one has placed the four strings into the corner hole, folded them over evenly, and tied them with a double knot.

  • Yes, Rambam is the appelation used to refer to Maimonidies, being composed of the initials RMBM: Rabbi Moshe Ben Maimon.

  • this maimonadies aswell isnt it?

  • I'm glad that Mois Navon took his time to make these videos and post them here.

    Toda raba!

  • Can you please tell me what the significance of the different methods of tying the Tekhelet is? I have read about tzitzits in the Torah, but understand only a little.

Also, what is the significance of the blue cord?

  • The significance is to symbolize God's presence in creation, thus reminding the wearer that he should be ever wary to perform the will of the Creator. The blue cord inherently expresses this symbolism as it is said to be the color of God's throne. There is a great deal more to it all than this - just google "tekhelet" and you can read much more there on our site.

  • I'm glad Mois Navon posted these helpful videos.

    Toda Raba!!
