Just been playing Dragon Quest IV on DS and pretty clear crystal it shows the potential of playing 3D!!! Turning the camera around, loving the PS-32BIT GRAPHIC to the limit! & expect voice overs as FFIV DS had :D

Dragon Quest 8 was probably the greatest counsal rpg to that date. FF is great it its own way, be the dragon quest series simply pwns. The only thing stupid about this series is that they moved it to the DS...I guess I will download an emulator, heck if im gonna buy a handheld system.

Your mistaken, Final Fantasy X was one of the best, and certainly one of the most innovative.

Final Fantasy XII was good in it's own right, the new battle system worked well.

They are delaying the release of FFXIII from 2008 to 2009 so it doesn't interfere with this piece of crap's sales. W T F Kill this buttnugget of a series off already. Only in Japan does it come close to competing with the Final Fantasy series which is what people really want to play.

I'm not sure you quite understand that Dragon Quest is quite popular in both America and Japan. One thing that I am sure you don't realize is that Dragon Quest is the top selling series in Japan, and it is actually a law in japan that no DQ title can be released on a weekday because studies actually show that work productivity drops by a significan percent when a new DQ game is released there. Dragon Quest 7 is the best selling game of all time in Japan, and DQ has always sold well in America.

I am NOT going to like this Dragon Quest game at all. They did away with the turn based battle system, and decided it should be an action RPG. I don't like action based RPG's very much because Kingdom Hearts influenced the Japanese into thinking that "in order to make a RPG exciting for players, we must do away with the turn based system and make them ACTION-BASED."
