  • Craig, I posted about a month ago and have just got back online to find your new blogs! They're great and you are looking good in the new specs. I am -14 but I don't call that bad - I just have to think of my specs as new eyes - at least that's the way I was brought up to think of it. We are all pretty myopic in my family and all wear strong glasses now.

Good to hear your stories - thanks for sharing with us.

    Love from Jay

  • Jay: I try to keep the vlogs comming at least every couple of days. As far as my glasses, it's nice to have an option. I still mostly wear contacts, but occasionally wear my glasses out.

  • you're very nice with your specs. what your prescription?

  • My prescription is something like -11. Crazy, huh?

  • Holy crap. Mine is -9.50 in both eyes. My vision sucks too. Are you considering getting lazer eye surgery? I am in a few years when my eyeballs stop growing. I'm 23 and I hope my vision doesn't get any worse until then. I have glasses as well and they're heavy on my face at the end of the day. Are yours heavy as well? X

  • I've thought of getting laser surgery but probably won't for a while. I usually don't wear my glasses to work, because contacts give a better peripheral vision. At night, I'll put them on. Mine aren't heavy at all so they don't bother me.

  • dont do laser surgery or lasik and i would avoid contacts plastic lenses with strong metal frams with one piece unifit bridge seems to be the best

  • Oh Wow Craig! It's like you become this super handsome spexman superhero when you wear those awesome glasses. You say it makes your look itty bitty; but the lenses also have the effect of making your eyes look even prettier. Please wear them in future vlogs. It would be fun to hear about the skiing.

  • I will definately wear them in the future. Thanks for the compliment.

  • Great quiche, I mean quickie!!!!

    D

  • LOL--ah the quiche. Haven't had that in awhile. Maybe next time....

  • When you have a strong prescription, that's the way it is--limited peripheral vision (I'm a -9). But the longer you wear the glasses, the more you get used to it. It's great to have nice-looking glasses as an alternative to contacts!

  • I agree. My other ones were completely shot. I like the options.

  • OH! Craig you look so hot with thoses glasses. They are perfect for you. Please don`t go back to contacts.

  • I'm not sure if I can wear glasses exclusively. The peripheral vision thing is almost completely lost. But I'll definately wear them often.

  • Love your glasses! You look so cute!

Okay, my suggestion for tomorrow's vlog, how about how you and Shawn met? I'd love to know that story!

    Joanie

  • Joanie: That may be a story to tell though it may present itself to be a long vlog. Good idea.

  • long is okay because I know it will be interesting!

  • I think I'm going to do it in "chapters". That will probably work best!

  • Oh that's a good idea! Keep us hanging!! "Stay tuned"... I love it!!

  • Yey Joanie! That's the same question I asked him!

  • LOL Inquiring minds want to know!!

  • I do! It is always so interesting to find out the beginnings :)

  • Yes, OKAY CRAIG WE WIN -- THATS YOUR TOPIC! lol

  • Lookin' good! Sometimes simple videos are the best. :D

  • msudduth01: Keep life simple, that's what my father always said. Sometimes it's easier said than done.

  • Hey look! NO contacts and you can see! (Finally). You look SO cute with glasses! How are you dealing with everything looking small and curvy? Please post in your glasses again for us glasses fans.

  • Chrisgreen67: Things are much better than they were when the prescription was wrong and it's nice not to have to wear contacts all the time. No curvy, but things still seem quite smaller than with contacts.

  • Groovy glasses! Love 'em!

  • JeepGirl2: Groovy glasses are the best. Thanks!

  • awesome glasses

  • thanks Charlambe, but I've found that it makes my eyes look like they are itty bitty

  • Wear your glasses on tomorrow's blog :)

  • DnBursky: After skiing, I may have to.

  • LOVING the new glasses!!

Hmm suggestions. I guess I'd like to hear more about your job. Although that may not be something you may want to talk too much about. If not, then how did you meet Shawn?

  • Job, Shawn, Hmmmmmm. I guess I haven't really talked about either.

  • Hi your glasses look awsome your eyes must feel good to be able to breath I was wondering if you could take them off and show us how far you can see in front of you and can you read without them

  • Daggggy: The glasses are a nice change though I am practically blind without them. I can see, maybe 2 inches in front of me without any correction so I definately cannot read without them.
