I am mid fortys and grew up poping, I am impressed by the blending of locking with a modern twist, poping although good not impressive, overall the black lady realy hit old school locking the white chick gave her a run for her money due to the fluidity of her movments, overall impressed that old school is still has a movement. ps the pant did restrict a lot of visual effect of poping

As a matter of fact ive been dancing for the last 12 years and also have been teaching for the last 5. So yes I do pride my self as a dancer. First off im not in any way talking bad about these girls, they are obviosly talented. All i am saying is that this is not real pop n lock, it is to fluid. Pop n lock is a lot more technical.

Also if you were a teacher who knew much about these styles you probably wouldn't be calling it "pop n lock" as pop n lock is a term usually misused by people who don't know what locking is.

being simple: "pop" means contracting parts of the body, those contractions are called...POP!(first girl, Claire)

"lock" is the movement of locking your body(back round up and elbows up, second girl, Sandra)
