  • YES, crayons AND teddy bears in the same video. I never thought such a level of awesome would exist.

  • I am learning in an hour more than I could learn in a week in school. WOAH!

  • You're awesome, really wanted to get a grasp of C++ before I go into a college class, and so far I can tell these are really going to help me! You're a life saver!

  • Teddy beers! =D

  • Tut 7, Yeaaaaaaaaaaahhhh ;D

  • crayon box XD

  • @PistonGamingUK rofl

  • cout<<"Incredible"\n<<endl;

    :)

  • @masteroforkut That line of code would not work.

  • @Nikotiini69 lol

  • @masteroforkut That command is nonfunctional as you put the "\n" OUTSIDE the quotes. But I do understand and concur with your thought. :)

  • wow i could never get something to even come up in my programs on any other tutorials! and now iam adding numbers! YOUR GREAT!

  • Do you have a donation Thing on paypal, loads of people would probably give you something as a thank you, including me!

  • Dude you should write a book and indeed you are a very good tutor Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanx

  • You're a good tutor! Thanks for these. :-)

  • crayons and teddy bears....Hardcore

    thanks for your help your vids are great

  • for live help

    #cpphelp on irc.mibbit.net, webclient at mibbit.com :P

  • ADVICE:

    When creating a variable by typing "int x", the variable has no known value. This is bad practice, because if you use the variable in an equation when you don't know it's value, you may get strange behaviour (undefined behaviour). Here it is solved by then typing "x = 7", which assigns 7 to "x", and so it is no longer unknown.

    However, the correct way to do it in C++ is to initialize (give starting value) everything like this: "int x(7);"

    It is safer and potentially faster.

  • Thank you antiRTFM for this, it really does help =]

  • "A whole bunch of teddy beers." Phenomenal.

  • Instead of "cin.get()" in the end to keep the program running you could use

    system("PAUSE");

    ...Just looks a little bit better

    Anyway nice Tutorials..You helped me alot.

  • Stupendously enlightening tutorial. Gonna get an A in my programming class

  • to be honest i dont know why people use int main() when they dont have to return anything why not use void main() lol

  • @daltonwilson123321 NEVER use void main, the main is an integer function, it returns an integer.

  • what is bool in c++?

  • @TheMattj98 bool is true/false.

  • wat book would u recommend for c++ beginner ?

  • @tiago1133 in one of the previous videos, he said that it sometimes doesn't mater how you space out your code, and this is one of that times... for example:

    cout << "Hello world!" ;

    does the same thing as

    cout<<"Hello world!";

    the first example is just more organised but does the same thing

  • teddy beers

  • Before ";'" you sometimes leave a space, and you sometimes dont. Why is that?

  • lulz teddy beers X)

  • actualy i have pencils in my old crayon case

  • You are awesome, I have had a problem understanding the variables before and this has cleared that all right up!

  • "this is an equals sign" jeez you really are spoon feeding this to us LOL

  • I made it through the first 6 Videos and I never got lost :) success, thank you

    I was wondering where your accent is from?

  • hey, i really appreciate ur tutorials but i have one question when v assign variables (let's say x and y) and then when assigning values i gave x =7 and x= y and then i print the code but it displays sme error y is that so??

  • Amazing tutorials but i live the real life examples of things

  • I loved how you pronounced Teddy Bear as Teddy Beer XD

    epic win.

  • For Math antiRTFM try Khan Academy!

  • That very big number is 2 147 483 647

    If I remember correctly ^^

  • Dude, I am learning more than I did siting through 7 hr classes already. Thanks man, this is amazing!

  • oh so its kinda like middle school math?

  • its not the compiler that calculate its the computer :P

  • OMG! I just realized it that I can also do this stuff in TURBO C++! hahahaha! Yeay! No need to listen to the teacher when I get to my 4th year level because you already told me and explained it to me! Thanks!

  • I've been wondering about this for ever, What does "Global Scope" at the top do? When would I use it?

  • lol that crayon analagy was terrible

  • Im subbing because I was looking for a tutorial for a complete noob like me, that wanted to lean C++ but couldn't find anything easy enough for me, and this is perfect, thanky you so much (:

  • @biplav32 Yeah reading is great, but the thing is I spent days, like 4 or 5 hours a day reading on c++, the same thing over and over trying to comprehend it. But the thing is, some people just can't learn through reading text. I learned more since last night just starting these videos than I did that month of reading like that, like I knew how to write programs and such (simple ones) but I never actually knew what each term meant. He thoroughly explains. I subbed to you antirtfm :D

  • lold when you said this number could be between 0 - *pause* a very big number

  • this is a great video for showing c++ for new comer leaner thanks sooooooooo much!

  • This tutorial is ALGERBRAIC!! =)

  • Variables and other basics are all concepts that I believe noobs should know before tackling the syntax and complexity of c++, like in a language such as Visual Basic. Thats how I learned basic programming concepts.

  • Nice ringtone =p

  • it was a good analogy and a great tutorial, quit being douche bags

  • @ imgrayhaven

    stfu.

  • Thank you!

  • teddy beers. lol.

  • nice

  • int main() is a storage box too correct? We can call main to be used later in our program?

  • Actually chances are it's stored on the CPU SRAM cache not the main system SDRAM cache. =P

    Most programs try to keep processes with in the CPU L1/L2cache it self for quicker response.

  • see my channel FAQ #3 and #2

  • Very nice simple and understandable information, i'm studying every single one.

    Thanks.

  • Ah, its ok. I forgot to put endl;

  • use \n not /n or use endl;

  • youre way better than my teacher!! and you only spent about 9 mins on every tutorial instead of 3 fkn hrs!!

  • You are a man above men.

  • Great! I've watched the first 6/7 videos and I already knew about the topics BUT these videos are so detailed that I now know why you have to do certain things. Probably the best c++ tutorials that i've seen on youtube.
