  • Sounds like Warrel...I like the groovy Tool riff

  • Sounds kinda like old faithfull King Diamond from time to time mixed with Arch nemesis. Great music.

  • e aí alvaro? blz?

  • to me this sounds like Control Denied but I don't care at all... Communic is an entirely different band.... This album is great

    P.S.

Nevermore has a similar style but they are getting more boring in each record. Producer Neil Kernon exploited their resemblance to Flotsam and Jetsam in their approach to writing. Yes I find Nevermore has a lot of simmilarities with F & J.

  • @99xstrenghtx99 Plz tell him he kicks some serious ass!

  • Boring. Tries to be Nevermore, but fails miserably.

  • Waahhhhh one of the best songs

  • 2 people need to be shot.

  • Warrel Dane much? Jesus...

  • this music is so fucking awesome. i like this epic sound. if nevermore is as good

than i will love it the same. but that what i heard before is not comparable with these gods of music

  • @honigdachsfan Nevermore is a league ahead of these guys. You can't compete with dane and loomis but these guys are very talented as well.

  • @cocoadog5 I think communic is far better. They are able to increase the power

to a higher point than nevermore. Communic sounds very epic. The singing is longer. Even the songs are mostly longer than 8 minutes. Nevermore is more mainstream for me. Before i had internet i would have loved them. But here i prefer listening to the best bands. Of course communic is less hard. But this is not a quality point for me.

  • @honigdachsfan Mainstream, are you fucking kidding me? Just because they have a bit more success somehow makes them worse? No nevermore earned every bit of respect they got sure there songs arent 8 minutes long but that just means they don't fill there music with repeated riffs. Jeff loomis could single handly outplay this entire band. Simply no comparison.

  • @cocoadog5 O.K. mainstream is insulting. But i like communic more ( up to now ). If it is possible tell me your 3 favourite songs from Nevermore. Witch in your opinion are better than this song or "on ancient ground" or "waves on visual decay". These songs have a wide range of expression. They are very creative. I think one can not foresee them easily.

  • @honigdachsfan Ok well variety Listen to Born for it's chorus. This godless endeavor, since you like long songs, and Dreaming neon black for metals softer side.

  • @cocoadog5 Thank´s a lot for your suggestions. I have listened to the music the last 50 min. . And especially Dreaming neon black with its chorus "meet me in the dreamtime water drown" is very awesome. This godless endeavor has also find the way in my singing list. I would like to share some of my current favourite songs which you maybe will like or know already.

There is "Trough my eyes from Threat signal" posted from Nuclear Blast Europe.

  • @cocoadog5 ..."Save me from Shinedown /studiougo" and "New moon rising from Wolfmother/Gualz08"

The singer of Shinedown has a very good voice. Maybe you like these songs.

  • ¡¡Tiene un parecido a Vicarious de Tool!!

  • NEVERMORE: Highly political, much more diverse, critical of religion in a more direct manner than this song (which criticizes cults more than religion itself); less technical, more attitude overall. American, patriotic personality. Philosophy major.

COMMUNIC: Much longer songs, more personal, heavier, better production, fuller and less range-meister voice; feels like three guys wrote this after the 9 to 5. Classier, thanks to Norwegian origin. Sociology major.

    Well, that should end it...

  • @quadrupleplay It seems as though you called Communic a better band... I suppose everyone is entitled to there opinion, but nevermore is much heavier end of story. There 7 strings are tuned so low they are practically bass guitars. Also Dane writes much better lyrics and everyone in this band put together couldn't muster up the talent jeff loomis has... facts.

  • @cocoadog5 Sorry bro, but Nevermore doesn't tune their guitars low at all. I think at most they go down 1/2 step from B, which is standard on a 7 string.

  • @lawlawlkev They usually play on A. That is still more than the heaviest of six strings.

  • @cocoadog5

Unless you're like me and tune a six string that low :D

  • @1RevvinFC3S haha tried that once... i had standard strings on at the time. Snapped all of them in an hour ha

  • @cocoadog5 Dunlap High Tension 11's. That is all you need to know! ^_^.

  • @lawlawlkev Yeah, they tune in B flat, and that is only so they can play their first three album songs on it, witch were in E flat

  • @cocoadog5 Well, these guys aren't writing lyrics in their native language, so I don't think that's a fair comparison. I interviewed Oddleif once and he admitted he paid more attention to the phonetics than the actual meaning. Loomis is easily a better shredder/solo player, sure. But in terms of overall songwriting, I'd say they're about even now.

  • @chaxster I don't thinks that's an excuse... google translator. Figure out the harmony later. Also Loomis is better at everything. Shredding and rhythm.

  • @cocoadog5 did you just say that a low tuned guitar is equal to good music? ^^

  • @tehpeasant No sir not at all. Only that it leads to "heavier" sounds.

  • Maybe they have some similarities with nevermore, because the singer/guitarist/composer/songwriter, Oddleif Stensland, like nevermore.

  • Love this :D

  • i love them<3

  • its the vocals that make it sound like nevermore

  • i havent heard these guys in forever

  • I've known these guys for years! Thanks for putting them up! I only wish it was as good as the quality I had :(.

  • first time listening to this and it is

    O FOR OWESUM

  • Great band but we shouldn't compare them to nevermore....They have there own sound even if they have a touch of nevermore...

  • @blacksession12

I find they sound very very similar, which is great because i love nevermore.

Although i have yet to listen to many of their songs

  • Got the first 2 albums on cd. This band is amazing and I prefer them over Nevermore.

  • O_O I have never found anyone who sounded this close to Warrel Dane.

  • NOT EVEN FUNNY HOW SIMILAR THEY SOUND

  • To what band? I think they sound like Nevermore

  • @Tidfall1 that would be the band im talkin about

  • he is my friend's uncle :D met him once :)

  • got this on a nuclear blast demo from 2006

the song is still awsome, the main band on that demo was threat signal, though

  • Reminds me of Nevermore.

  • Yes i agree

  • @Tidfall My 1 first thought

  • A magnificient album. From the first to the last song they embrance many fields of heavy metal resources. Purchase it now, you won´t regret.

  • there a great band and when you got it you got it you know what i mean?.some of these singers are so good they can walk right into a studio without even warming up and hit it right on the fucking head the very first time . wow intense to be able to do that you must know something.anyways there music is great .

  • Somebody post a live video.

  • Awesome song.

  • 4th coment WOOT!!!!

  • i got Waves Of Visual Decay. GOD is it good. this song is the most intense on the album. 5/5 stars.

  • yeah very nice song!!!

  • Great song!!!
