  • Lmao @ 5:52

  • hey do you still have a 200mm fan grill i cant find one do you think you would send me one?

  • I don't think those specs in the description are accurate...3000 CFM fan? My CM 230mm ones get only 110 CFM...something is terribly wrong here.

  • @zver711 the RPM = 3000 not the cfm - take a look at the description again :)

  • @ethr95awd

You've confused me, with your fancy numbers and math signs, Callahan!

  • wow i have never seen a retail hdd box

  • You must not shop at big box electronic stores. I try not to but sometimes I have to pay the retail tax when I need something right now. They used to come with cables back in the IDE days.

  • Thanks for doing the unboxing vid on the Black WD/retail.

I realize it's only an "unboxing" but I've been wondering about this drive but haven't had any time to look into it. Hope you'll let us know how it holds up.

I always worry about oem drives pooping the bed sooner than their retail counterparts. Could be totally irrational. I don't know.

    Thanks.

  • You are welcome.

Wow I hope that isn't true. I've never noticed a difference and have not thought twice about whether a drive is oem or retail.

  • Nice! WD black edition 32mb cash awesome hdd

    5/5

  • Thanks. I am going to be building my raid 5 set with 4 of these tonight.

  • i have that same spot cool fan in my rig

  • Yeah I saw that. I've wanted one for a long time and stumbled on one yesterday at of all places Best Buy. It's awesome for the tech station.

  • @ethr95awd so these spot cools actually do something ,? and when transporting the case does it move alot and what holds it inplace ?

  • good luck with the new stuff

  • Thanks!

  • Good video, check out my Cooler Master HAF 922. I could possibly use that fan grill too.

  • Thanks! I checked out your vid and it looks like the HAF 922 uses the 200mm without any flat sides? I would think the same one that fit the Antec 200 could work. The Mcmaster site include hole to hole measurements for the grill guard so you could double check.

  • ayup, it's the same. I'll pay for shipping if you like. Just let me know. paypyal is easy enough.

  • You want to buy one of them?

  • I had a hole available on the expansion slot brace. I'll show it in a video soon.

  • Where is the blue pulsating LED coming from on your workstation???

  • There are 4 blue surface mount LEDs on the motherboard framing an Asus logo. They call it the "Asus Heartbeat". From the Asus website: "With the breath-like deep blue lighting shining in regular tempo, ASUS Heartbeat makes the motherboard as vivid as life" lolz

  • is it hard to take out the top 200mm fan out? coz i wanna put a 200mm red led fan up there

  • Out of the Antec 900/902/1200 series? Nope. It is held in with 4 clips. All you need is a Philips screw driver. But to install a grill guard you don't need to remove the fan first.

  • okay thank you

  • okay bad advise. i have the 900 (not sure about 902, 1200, i assume they are very similar but I do not know) and i should have looked before I replied. You have to take off the whole top plastic part to get at the top fan as the mounting holes for the fan grill are covered by the metal of the top of the case carcass. I did a test fit and it looks like it will fit between the bottom of the fan and the top of the case with a slight modification to the grill guard. I will post another video.

  • i think there is like 4 screws in the bottom where it holds the 200mm fan and then once you take them out you remove it from the bottom i think..i have the antec 1200. and im doing another build with the same case

  • Oh OK thanks.

  • nice stuff 5/5

  • Thanks. Need a fan grill? :)

  • lol that crash scared me =p

  • me too!

  • cool stuff man wish i had a tb drive lol iv only got a 320gb and one 80gb lol ...

  • When I was 20 I had a hand me down Tandy 386 with a 40 MB hard drive with EGA graphics!
