Whilst i really liked Legion as a character and for the things it revealed about the geth i still think if they had followed with this initial idea pre-recruitment ... like a few scenes where it appeared during other missions watching you and making you wonder friend or foe before the Derelict Reaper

Not throughout the actual game, no. But he tells you he visited everywhere Shepard had been in ME1, Eden Prime, Feros, Therum, Noveria, Virmire, Ilos etc.

Very good marketing on their part, even if it wasn't intentional. Your lead to believe this guy is like the crazed fan that shot the Beatles. They have you in their sights, and BOOM Headshot . . . the husk that was going to kill you. That said I didn't see this trailer before I played the game so a character I've come to equate with politeness and even honor takes on a sinister tone. Especially the line "we do not experience feat, but we understand how it effects you." ~shudder~

i have legion and krogan, i am a soldier class with the big ass assault rifle, grunt with krogan shotgun and legion with that big ass sniper rifle, i use both of their shield abilites and i got legions through advanced training and just unleash hell
