I saw a report just the other day that people in Bangladesh were dying becuase of freezing tempratures. It was disturbing seeing dead infants..
I didnt even realise that desh exported tea. I thought it was primarily for local consumption. I thoguht Sylhet tea gardens was the only major plantation..
This is a bunch of crap. The problem in Bangladesh is nothing with global warming. Bangladesh feeds illegal lumber trades. The huge loss of trees and native habitat has created a drastic loss in evaporation supported by trees. When the trees are gone the evaporation stops and the clouds go away. This is why every forest and habitat restoration project else where produces clouds moistur and crops.
I know this may sound stupid or a bit loony but could they build big glass geodesic domes like at the eden project? They could attach the sprinklers to the frame...
Just when I started to get in to drinking tea too. lol. Earl Grey and Lady Gray Tea are great tasting teas to drink. They mix it up every so often from drinking coffee. I drink my coffee and tea with no milk, sugar,. cream, honey, and lemon or limes too.
@imarketingprofessor Ecosystems cannot adapt to change as quickly as is currently occuring. Latest estimates of around 6 degrees C of climate change in the next century will leave these Bangladeshis under several meters of water. I suppose you want them to grow gills too.
