All of this is easily done in sony vegas... Just mask the parts in the frame that interfere with the effect and layer the videos... and then the color correction effect you had done is easily done with either the included plugins or NewBlueFX. You did a great job on this! :D I happen to be 14 so I am glad more and more younger people are taking an interest in this stuff.

not even close.......in case u didnt know he uses after affects which i have found to be a really complicated program to use, much more than sony vegas. sony vegas is primarely an editing software where as after affects is a dedicated program to doing those sorts of things

Yea that wasent really very hard. I'm pretty sure you can create something similar to that in sony vegas. I dont know if sony vegas has those exact color correction presets but defintly no need for after effects

sony vegas isnt made for this kind of editing after effects is used by alot of directors for top movies and alot of editing/flexibility but sonyvegas is used for low budget movies sonyvegas dosent really give you alot of flexibility

Thats what i meant. I meant Adobe after effects is meant for special effects like this. What im trying to say is that i could create that same effect on sony vegas. Its just masking and and color curves and some shaking of the camera. Maybe Intricate was the wrong word. I meant editing a lot of raw footage with user friendly controls.

Cloning, it's found here on YouTube.. :)

It's basically called cloning, cause it's used to clone items, people and so on.. Just press CTRL + SHIFT + D to Split Layer, and do it till you got it right, and make a mask, and tadaah.. Just search: "Adobe After Effects - Cloning".. You'll understand.. :)

He didn't, the red line indicates what part of the video is still being shown, he cropped himself out of the video and the ruler moved so fast that you couldn't see it

its lika a effect that is already... kinda tooned in, so if you want a greeny color correction, you just drop that preset on the layer instead of going effects -> color correction -> curves or hue and saturation and do it yourself
