  • say "UM" one more fucking time

  • I just bought a Savage model 10 Precision Carbine that has 1/11.25 twist and 5R rifling and i only paid $850.00.

  • Comment removed

  • Local shop has these with the threaded barrel for $620.... Hope you paid $1200 with everything... not just the gun.

  • @HammeredAndHorny he said milspec one was 1200 did he not?

  • @reidmeyers Oh, well that makes more sense.

  • hey man just wanted to comment about the 5r milspec, great rifle just got done shooting 900 yards with some handloads with sub MOA. but you should be able to get it for cheaper than 1200$ i got mine for 1050 new. I couldnt ask for a better gun.

  • How much for the scope and what is the click value

  • savage better than Remington

  • @BUSHMASTER159 Lol, I was just about to make the same comment. I personally HATE Remington.

  • I had to replay it three times...$1200? My local Sporting Goods Store has the 10FP in .308 for $629.99.You can pick them up on Gunbroker for a little less, until you pay shipping/FFL Fee's. I'm hoping the price you paid is including the bi-pod and a really high end scope. I would hate to think you got ripped off. Great choice in rifles though, and your 900 yard shooting was terrific!!!!

  • @bigdogbuc no dude he was talking about buying a Remington 700 not the savage

  • @bigdogbuc are the guns on gunbroke used?

  • @MrSethyg123 Fairly certain they were new. I don't typically look at used stuff on GB unless it's something I can't find locally or something I specifically want. Too many hassles. I'm starting to find that GB is no longer a place to go for deals. Seems to be overrun with commercial sellers that may sell at a little lower price, but by the time you pay for shipping, FFL fee's and now in my state, sales tax on internet gun purchases, it's cheaper and easier to find it here. Sorry for the delay...

  • savage is way better than Remington just ask anyone who owns both, savage quality is freakin good the barrels are button rifled and hand straitened. Remington has a reputation for making sewer pipes.

  • bipod on backwards

  • Good rifle, excellent value. As well is the scope. I use the same mil-dot scope and it is excellent for the price.

  • @RoninHawk where did you get your scope and how much?

  • @MrSethyg123 - I got it from Midway USA, for about $210.

  • why put steel rings on a cheap alum. base?

  • the bushnell elite 3200 10x40 has 45 MOA adjustment of elevation. i have the same scope.. good thing your getting that 20 MOA base

  • so you would prefer a remington but you pretty much give us every reason to go for savage instead lol.

Your savage is an excellent weapon, it could very well outshoot a remington 700. Don't worry if the stock looks low quality, that's the only thing savage goes cheap on.

  • I know right? I own the same rifle but have an NXS sitting on top and McMillan A2 Tactical Stock and have never shot a group larger than .33" ( ALWAYS one ragged hole at 100 meters) no matter what I feed it. Never fed it crappy wolf ammo though so I won't be surprised if it gets a bad review.

  • ? for gunmaster45. Did you have to prime the stock prior to painting or did the paint stick with no problems? The combination of tan against the black looks nice. Trying to save money to get a Presicion Carbine or a Predator series.

  • burris extreme tactical rings medium

    and cheap walmart weaver bases

  • hey wat kinda mounts do u have? i got the Leupold STD bases and the fucking thing juts out so much the bolt hits it in two places.

  • hey y is there a blood stain on floor next to your desk

  • dude that is sehhrrrr bad ass
