Yeah I like DS9 and every season of that show (it's probably my favorite TV show). However it does have weaknesses. I think the saving grace of season 7 (as well as season 1) was despite some uninspiring plots choices, the characters are still great characters and are still likeable. This makes you overlook the silly plots of some episodes.
I think the characters in DS9 are much more interesting than the TOS and NG ones. But then I found it hard to stand all the Temple and prophet and wraith stuff... and Winn needed to die long before the show ended.
No offence, but I think the whole scene is one the most unintentionaly funny moments of star trek history.

DS9 and Enterprise are opposites.
Enterprise was a terrible show with a surprisingly great final season.
DS9 was a great show with an absolutely awful final season.

I personally thought ds9 season seven overall had some good parts to it but still it wasn't perfect. Especially with that they did to dukat.
