The truth? It seems to me the Jews have a place to live free of persecution, the US. It was a mistake to give them Israel and the current situation there is a consequence of that mistake. But its done now. They don't seem to be making any attempt to live peaceably with the Palestinians and they aggravate the situation and their neighbours by their attitude.

Israel is listed as a unicameralism "flawed democracy" even by Wikipedia as the de-facto situation for over 36 years -- then the state of Israel currently consists of a population of over 9 million people, 3.5 million of whom cannot vote.
De-facto, then, Israel is not a democracy.
(Unless your idea of a democracy is: you can vote only if you're of the dominant ethnic group).
