Accedently stumbled upon this quest after joining the imperial army with level 13 or something. Now here is the fun part: I got two dawnbreakers. The fight against the necromancer was pretty hectic, but after it I found one dawnbreaker on the floor in the right corner of the room, AND I got another one for finishing the quest. Ancient Nord Tombs are laughably easy to clear when dualwielding dawnbreakers ^^

@supercj20 It's after Vokun, once you kill him the doors open, killed him ages ago and the doors shut once you load a different destination, the only way you can go through the door is through using Computer Console Commands and turning off collision, but... I only have it on xbox 360

as your one handed skill increases so does the damage of all one handed weapons in the world, including dawnbreaker

@besillywithyourwilly yeah, if you have the unrelenting force shout upgraded to the max, use that to blow all the shades out of the way and attack malkoran ASAP. He is very strong but his health isnt very high so you wanna get to him as fast as possible and the shades can be a pain in the ass.

@LunaticJR1 to upgrade shouts, you must first learn a new word for your shout. You must also have a dragon soul. Then, go into your shouts and press X (for xbox 360) on the shout you want to upgrade.

@besillywithyourwilly i know this is kinda late, but if you have rune spells, put one down in a nearby doorway, then if you have a ward spell put it in one hand and put a sword, mace or war axe in the other. Go up to him, hit him twice with the sword, then run backwards with that ward up. Lead him to the door, then use your favorite damaging shout, then just hack away. Also, poisoning the weapon with some kind of magicka poison makes the ward last longer and the final part easier.

@shadow6reather I dont really know where you can find an ebony dagger but I will make a video soon on how to get Mehrunes' Razor, which is also a dagger. Also, the minimum level requirement for the Mehrunes' Razor is 20 so you should be fine.

if you join the Dark Brotherhood and get to the mission where you have the option to kill or spare Cicero, choose to kill him. Search his body and he will hav ean ebony dagger to pick up (:
