Now no one denies the worth of that and no one denies the lives saved, but it is true that the war was lost by Germany the moment they declared it; Britain may have fell who knows? Hm, I noticed the top rated comment responding to world hunger. I partly think this is the price people pay (perhaps unknowingly) for becoming capitalists. Communism had some great ideas for a more equal society, and longterm maybe equal world. No, I'm not a communist, I just think some of their ideas are good (both meanings of the word).
Then there's the fact that people are fucking egoistical SOB's and couldn't care less about other people, which probably is why such ideas were not embraced
