  • I adore Jerry Lee Lewis. This is absolutely fantastic. Thank you for sharing :D

  • The only thing that could be interesting is the left hand rhythm. The right hand is boring.

  • Nice! Put a mic stand in the way though like JLL used to so you have to play the slides round it!

  • God I played this 2 years after I started piano. When I was 10! No sheet music!

  • The killer 2 ? :)

  • A to the Mazingggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dammit son, throw some water on that thing.

  • Nothing, and I mean nothing, is more sweet sounding to me as some good old pumping, pounding, boiling boogie woogie piano. It never fails to put be in a good mood and it makes me think of my dad who loved to play Jerry Lee Lewis on his piano. God bless "The Killer".

  • realy nice dude, go on!

  • erm , ima twelve, and i watched this, ive been playing since late in my 8's, i just turned twelve nov 22, 2010, and erm... i watched and listen quite a bit and i can play this song! :D check out my vids! im making piano ones, but ya... so if they are not there they will be added soon, and i might not be able to play that fast anymore, i kinda wore myself out... :) but anyway, i didnt watch turtorial, its all natural to me, i watched "Great Balls Of Fire" and listen to music, and it all hit me :)

  • WOW !

  • I've been practicing that left hand for the last 3 months. It's coming....slowly but surely! Thanks for posting.

  • your piano playing isn't very varied

  • Even if a person is "gifted' to play the piano, it take YEARS of time and money to reach that level of proficiency. As a adult beginner, an hour here or there in watching a video won't get you anywhere near to playing at you just heard. Buyer beware!

  • i'm the wiiiilllld chiiiiiildd !!!!!!! ^^

  • who denies that his jaws didnt hit the floor is a cunt !

  • Que bosta de video, el pelado chupa verga ese se pone a tocar, pero no es un tutorial, que garcha anda a cagar!

  • I don't understand how to get this piano music. I want very much to try to play this :(

  • dern you play good!

  • omg you wrote that no way i want to learn it please send me the piano music please oh wow that made me dance in my chair. thank you so much.

  • I will try to get it up on the site as son as I can.

  • @GreatScores wat did you right?

  • What is the Name of the Song at the Beginning??

  • PLEASE re-upload this with walking bass. it would be absolutly brilliant

  • Impresssionantttt!!!!!

  • I think he needs some more speed and improvisation. but it's good to look at it because it's easier to hear some riffs. the sheet is good till u learn basic riffs and licks, then...

  • very very nice!!

    do you have the sheet?

  • Love the piece. Love Jerry Lee Lewis.

P.S. The guy playing the piano is cute :)

  • man this piece rocks,

i have been practising it for a month and finally i can play it in this high tempo.. download the sheet and practise.. it is great fun!

    greetings from holland

  • were do i down load it from

  • buy it:S

  • OK.....left hand...JLL....but.........

  • is this lewis boogie??? or

  • this is a cover from "wild one"

  • Great!!!

  • This is Jerry Lee Lewis Style.

Hear Breathless, Drinkin Wine Spo Dee O Dee, Flip Flop Fly, Jerry Lee Lewis - Good Golly Miss Molly, Great Balls Of Fire, Real Wild Child and more, all played or from Jerry Lee Lewis and all with this Rhytm and Style.

  • This is good - BUT IT A`INT JERRY LEE

  • Thanks for the nice lesson, but I agree:

    not groovy enough.

  • ke fissaggine

  • i'm italian, i'm fifteen, and I can play jerry lee lewis songs's too. How can I play tha piano so well like you?

  • Ciao! Well, the unfortunate answer to that is loads and loads of practice. Have look at some of the other videos about this tune, as I give some hints about the technique to play some of the licks, a good teacher will also be able to help you - find one who can play Rock and Roll.

  • Great playing , but is definatly NOT Jerry Lee Lewis style

  • After ordering the sheet music, I've been working on it for a week. So far I can play the entire number at about a speed of 80. Now I need to double that. Any suggestions about perfecting that blistering speed?

  • Fire up the after-burners? But seriously, like with anything new you'll have to break things down into small sections. Split the right hand into phrases, most of these are just four bars long, then slowly crank up the speed. Practice the left hand on its own making sure that you arm is very relaxed this is the problem with playing at this speed - getting tense and clamming up. Don't necessarily aim for 190, a bit of a cheeky challenge I put up there, it sounds fine at 150. Above all, be patient!

  • My method is to play is slowly, even ridiculously slow at first, until you get comfortable with it. They I horse around with it, changing the rhythm, just trying to have fun. Then I notch it up a bit. I've always made steady progress. With this piece, I find it hard to give it much expression at anything over 150, but I'm still practicing. If you start messing up, slow down until you learn it properly before ramping up again. It's a fun piece...I never tire of playing it.

  • I've gotten the piece up to 150 - 160 tempo. Greatscores is right, it sounds fine at that tempo. I'm going to put up a video on youtube soon. I started out with varying speeds. I have a piano that allows me to record it, so I can listen to it at any speed. I'm going to memorize the piece so that it becomes second nature. So Greatscores, could you work on a Part II for this piece????

  • @glrhole First thing you need to do i s pick up your sheet music hold it in your right hand carefully fold it using your left . repeat process then insert into GARBAGE! Boggie is all about agressive emotion! not following instructions.

  • Thanks for this, dude.

  • Being able to get the sheet music as it's played and an mp3 is a huge learning advantage. Please post some more. this is great.

  • Thank you for your kind comments. We've had quite a good response to our Jerry Lee Lewis video, so we will be adding more videos that we will be offering a similar tie-in of video, score and possible mp3.

  • Very, very nicely played

  • Great stuff, cant wait to see the tutorial!

  • could u do a video of his hands doing this same song please.

  • We will be uploading tutorial videos about this piece over the next few days!

  • thank you. and do u know how to play whole lotta shaking.
