@boywunder343 -- i HATE when they do that. that's why I prefer his books. I like his themes of corruption/redemption. + I'm a queer female & proud to say I get to share a birthday w/ Bret Easton Ellis. Month & day anyway, lol. :)
@ilianasdream well i actually have a major problem with bret easton ellis as well...his work is so fundamentally racist....he always either excludes minorities or kills them off in his books ...its like modern day racial propaganda and its annoying how is making so much money off of it....and he makes it clear that being white is a definite privlege...i dont buy that...
This movie may not be a masterpiece as American Psycho, but it nevertheless is a good movie, largely underrated. Brad Renfro's performance was awesome and Jon Foster is so HOT!
The best part of the film. I wanted to like this film, I've loved all the other Ellis film adaptations, but this one was fell short. They should have focused on only a few of the short stories, and cut out the rest. Great scene though, thanks!
I haven't seen this movie but it seems ridiculous that this would be the best scene. I mean, it's cool and everything but all that happens is a great song and people flirting.
It does sound silly to say that, but its true lol. The scene truly captures the essence of the 80's: music, fashion, fast-paced lifestyle, drugs, decadence. The film just takes a dive after this scene. I'd hate to relegate the 80's to those caracteristics, buts its true lol.

they ALWAYS exclude the gay/bisexual themes and relationships between men that are always in Bret Ellis' novel....did they do that in this movie too?
