Franz-Josef Kiefer of the Regensburger Domspatzen has the honor of being the first boy soprano soloist to be identified by name on this series. The Vienna Choirboy soloists were never identified this first year, and the Tölzers didn't start participating until a year or so later.
We owe a debt of gratitude to Franz-Josef and the Vienna boys for doing such a good job in the beginning, thus insuring this series would continue to the end.
