Thank you so much for sharing your view and story on the DP, you and I seem to have very alike stories as to how we came to see the DP for what it truly is. I also am thankful that I not only learned early of what is going on in our state but continued to research it more deeply when I grew up. Congrats on your decision to study LAW, since it takes ppl like you to make the real changes occur & I admire that! Id love to know more about the Ky Innocence Project also, btw! inmates set on death row for like 20 years before being executed that should be plenty of time to prove there not guilty, and i think violent crimes would go up if the death penalty was removed, also i think death row inmates are treated to good better than they treated there victims, and if u ask death row inmates if they were for the death penalty before they committed there crime they would say yes or lie. Erin Kennedy needs to mind her own business and move to California this is Kentucky.

@555BERSERKER Violent crimes are actually higher in states with the death penalty, according to the FBI's 2006 Uniform Crime Report. Furthermore, innocent people have been executed, like Cameron Todd Willingham in Texas.

(And, for the record, California also has the death penalty.)
