  • Ok, I can believe that these jellyfish are eternal, but enable me to doubt that it is the same one singing all along the whole video...

  • MUSIC PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • @LaSalviaBodysurf an opera version of canon in d by pachelbell

  • May I know what is the background song?

  • Кто исполняет эту версию песни подскажите пожалуйста)

Who sings this version of a song prompt please)

  • Thumbs up if you're here from Qi.

  • That's really incredible! It makes me curious how long they've been around, and what the oldest living one is... probably something we won't find out, but still fun to wonder about don't you think?

Also what exactly is this rendition of canon in d? It's very nice, I don't think I've ever heard it before.

  • yes does anyone know the name of this particularly lovely version of canon in d

  • How wonderful !

  • Une chance qu'elles ne soient pas trop intelligentes...

  • what is song? pls... thx u

  • @MrFroys "It's Canon in D major" or "Pachelbel's Canon".

  • Devant tant de grâce et de beauté, je reste médusée... Symbole de l'élégance et de la délicatesse, ce petit être n'est pas un animal, mais une anifemelle...

  • Wow, know that these jellyfish the video will be alive when I die.

  • @Dimis994 Of course, is there anything he can't kill? Only Chuck Norris could kill Chuck Norris. But immortal jellyfish will go on living for as long as Chuck Norris allows it.

  • The difference between to 2 top comments is hilarious! xD

  • Turritopsis nutricula 1: So what happens today Turritopsis nutricula?

Turritopsis nutricula 2: The same thing that happened a 10 million years ago my friend, NOTHING!

  • i like that piece! of canon! :D

  • impresionante

  • nice love it;D this video make peacefull my water cell in body;D thanks se yaa

  • Do you guys realise what's so awesome about this Jellyfish in particular?! It's immortal! It can't fucking die of old age! It reverts back to the polyp stage and then grow into maturity again, over and over and over again. It's basically a lord of the rings elf!

  • Hilander the immortality

  • 好酷喔 我想養

  • What is the name of the song

  • @yelipe1608 The actual song is called Canon by Johann Pachelbel, although the original piece doesnt include the vocals I'm not quite sure which this is but i you look up different variations of Canon you will find it.

Anyway about the jellyfish, I think its an evolutionary miracle that a species could achieve such a thing, I am by no means a Biologist but if Jellyfish could accomplish this feat then wouldn't it be possible for people to come up with some way of using that ability?

  • l'unico essere al mondo capace di ingannare la morte tornando allo stadio larvale (polipo), guadagnandosi il nomignolo di medusa immortale cmq è stupenda =)

  • We have our miraculous sea creature, let's get to making Rapture and splicers. :D

  • it's is cheat!!you hack!

  • why dont they overpopulate sea if they are immortal??

  • @Technine999 because they don't swim especially strongly, if you hadn't noticed XD and currents would prevent that, for the most part. However, apparently, they ARE starting to find them more and more around the world, which means they ARE slowly making their way around the world at which point they will most likely take over and then come on land and eat everything and become jelly-filled bags of god-ness.

  • @Technine999 Turritopsis Nutricula's immortality refers to the fact they do not die due to age. They still die from diseases and being eaten just like any other animals.

  • @Technine999 Because the planet has a lot of water and these cute little creatures don't reproduce as often as humans do..

  • i'd prefer to die naturally because disease and being ate are painful lol.

  • peaceful.

  • Nice!!

    song?

    music?

    canon pachebel opera? xd

  • ...I want....to eat....

  • How big are these things?

  • @Biohazard1997X

    4-5 mm

  • increible.

  • Thank you. Very pretty. So delicate to be so immortal.

  • this beautiful creature knot die natural death

  • the music in the background is spectacular...good choice

  • don't steal my video!

  • Jellyfish usually die after propagating but Turritopsis reverts to a sexually immature stage after reaching adulthood and is capable of rejuvenating itself.

The 4-5mm diameter creature, technically known as a hydrozoan, is the only known animal that is capable of reverting to its juvenile polyp state.

Theoretically, this cycle can repeat indefinitely, rendering it potentially immortal.

  • Jellyfish are, in my opinion, the most interesting creatures on the planet. They're hunks of goo in bags that function like any other organism; almost like a giant cell. The fact that they can biologically live forever just blows my mind. Hopefully we'll understand these animals better in the future and possibly grasp the idea of biological immortality.

  • @xBoose You haven't heard of Ray Kurzweil. He predicts in 40 years from now, humans will be able to have the knowledge and technology to live on forever. Where humans are both sentinel and organic. Check out the movie "The Transcendent Man" the documentary. I guess they won't be the only immortal creatures for long.

  • @Drbolla345 People said, in 1920, that by 1980 we would have flying cars. People said, in 1960, that by 2000 we'd have harnessed robot technology to do any household chore automatically (like in The Jetsons). Technology may move quickly, but keep in mind computers are only 30 years old. Our technology is a shovel on the earth. We have dug a small hole and immortality is in the center of the earth. It's going to take a while to get there; definitely not 40 years.

  • @xBoose

Id say 150 years for Transumanism and another 200-300 years for "immortality" :3

  • Transhumanism*

  • @xBoose it only on kind of jellyfish that mabey can live forever the rest of them have very fixed life spam

  • Comment removed

  • lmfaoo looks so useless anyways

  • @MrMagiczzz Kind of like you. What are you doing anyways? Even if you became the president of a country, or any thing you want to imagine, what would you really be doing? Something for the human species sure, but what exactly is that? When its over? When your part in it is over and you're dead?

The difference between you and this jellyfish is exactly zero. Well, except this jellyfish might still be alive when you're dead.

  • If you stick it on the end of your cock and say 17 bloody mary's you'll live forever.

  • @LEV1ATHYN what do girls do? oh they'll just be in te kitchen right lol jk

  • @LEV1ATHYN Classy...

  • @LEV1ATHYN Just catch a cold from it actually.

  • @LEV1ATHYN no offence but you must have a TINY dick...they are 4 to 5 millimeters wide^^

  • @LEV1ATHYN Confirmed

  • just wanna mush one up and throw it into a garbage can... then be like WHO'S IMMORTAL NOW BITCH???? XDD

  • Amazing....

  • do not fear, human immortality is on its way

  • @spartanwarrior217 noo... They're gonna regret the day the discover how...

  • in my opinion, this entity is the most incredible creature I have ever seen/read/known. May it's secret of immortality be it's own and no one elses.

  • @DEVILINANGEL1 I wanna be immortal too :(

  • this is the only animal in the hole world wich is immortal, cause it's cells are constantly replaced

  • ours do too only problem is after a certain age our bodies start basically poisoning us and we deteriorate into old age

  • @xxxMariusxxx94 Correction, only KNOWN animal in the world that is immortal. Considering the fact that no one knew about this species 10 years ago means that there could very well be other immortal critters out there that we just haven't discovered yet. Thats why biology is so much fun, there's always something changing up the game.

  • @ChaoticBlossom Correction:

it's the only BIOLOGICALLY inmortal animal... because if some animal eats it or attacks it it dies but if it's not attacked it could live forever

  • @Roysito123 no hydra are also biologically immortal animals

  • @Roysito123 Very true. Something could just gobble it up lol.

  • If you eat the brain in the middle you'll live forever.

  • @theconqueror thats a gonad not a brain.

  • wow....

did you know they are immortal !!

  • canon rock

  • cannon in D minor

  • The music is beautiful what is it?
