  • Good video we all like it. Thnx for sharing it's all bout Hmong culture. Respects the elders, tis wedding is very good n how the mom n dad tsav puas tug ntxhais moog ua lub neej hlub nam hlub txiv, tug quav yawg, cov cousins n tsev tuaj neeg, n keep the parents words I'm not even married yet, it's hard for me coz if my parents was still here but they're not.

  • having one's wedding in their culture means they respect their culture and their parents. the best thing about wedding are the words you receive from your elders. the words that you'll never imagine hearing it or will never hear it again. having blessing from ones elders/friends/families is the luckiest thing one can get from their wedding

  • exx123456 I know you some one old man there.

  • This video is pretty cool. I'm not much for Hmong wedding. If you want an American wedding go for it, but if you want a traditional wedding more power to you. It's true that this ceremony ties both clan together, but it's too bad life is different in US. No matter how you get married just love each other, listen to each other, solve your differences together, always end your day with I Love You.

  • Why did you put on the audio at the beginning? I want to hear what the father said when he "lwm qaiv" (my spelling is so bad ><)

  • @ibemissinyou

    I meant *didn't*

  • @ibemissinyou It was a request by the elders involved in the wedding process that caused me to remove the original audio file.

  • I've never seen the 'lwm xub/qaib' at the beginning done backwards before - guy standing behind the couple. Typically he stands in front of them at the entrance. Maybe it doesn't matter just never seen it like this. That said, guys and girls make absolutely sure this is done when you marry.

  • What I think is we should keep what is good and throw the bad one to modification the Hmong into a better future as new things change as time goes by.

I agree that we should modification to fit as time change... Still keep the good one but trash the bad one out to improve for our new generation into better solution in our Hmong future.

  • 3:02 Is that a cameo appearance of Ka Chang from the Ka & Choua band group lol. Anyways, good luck and wish you happiness.

  • keep your culture as long as you can never let it go. congrats to the bride and groom, may you have a long and happy life together filled with many children.

  • Thanks for the video. LOLX, so random but yet they are my cousins, ekekeke,

  • Hmong wedding is too complicated. Lets do an American version instead because it's easier.

  • Hmong weddings and rituals are one of the most unique and sophisticated culture in the world because it ties all the clans together.

  • show some pride in your own race retard Hmonkey and if you're white go fuck yourself motherfucker..chao outside motherfucker...fuck whitey

  • @greenmanadragon

Yea retard. I hope you have a wonderful typical American wedding. American wedding is nothing, but fairy tale cosplay.

  • not like that.....it is actually the most complication on the girls parents side......that i won't say.......but there might be some like that, that u seen before.....but not all r like that

  • @greenmanadragon

Wow..you are one ignorant person for thinking like so.

It's been one year since your comment on this video. I hope you have grown up by now, and reconsiderd your ignorant perspectives.

  • @greenmanadragon u talk about childplay but ur username is a child name lol.

  • Change will come with time. Weddings are among many things that the Hmong people need to modify as our era evolves. These changes will begin with the future of the Hmong... chongvang916, your comment proves change is drawing near.
