Correction on my earlier comment you need a composite cable with the headphone Jack on one end and the white and yellow ones on the other. Plug them in and you're good to go!

To output the sound through your tv speakers you need another cable I'm almost positive it's called a composite cable but it is red on one end plug that into your tvs audio Jack and the other end is like a headphone Jack plug that into your laptops headphone Jack and the sound will be transmitted through your tv. If I messed up on the color of the wire, correct me. I'm not positive which of the three wires ( red yellow white ) is the audio one. Great vid man!

Simple enough. I had someone recommend a 'Y-adapter audio cable' to plug in the head phone jack. Plug the audio jacks into your t.v. or stereo, and you're good to go.

S-Video is the worst way to connect your pc to a tv, well ecxept from RCA or RGB I suppose... But anyway, try to avoid this S-Video stuff. If you have the poissibilty use a dvi to hdmi converter.

most TVs will have those 3 color cable input (red, white, and yellow) the RED and the WHITE cables are for audio. get either one with the RED and WHITE, or all three. it wont matter which, but the yellow is unnecesary, and wont be used. make sure the other end of the cable is an 1/8th inch audio jack (exactly like on a pair of headphones). plug the red and white into ur TV, and the 1/8th inch jack into your headphone jack on the laptop and you're good to go.

S-video doesn't have anything to do with sound but you will have sound because it will be playing from the laptop speakers. If you want to use your speakers from your TV you would have to use a mini to RCA cable.
