Why don't they just jettison the term "documentary Film"? People aren't documenting anything. They're deciding what point of view about a certain subject they want to express and then choosing specific visuals, etc. to prove their point. Maybe they should call the genre "Visual Debate Without Rebuttal Since I'm the Producer, Director and Writer". Just a thought.
