Oooo the eagel boss is nothing compared to the hex lord. If you have a like a lvl 80 priest in the group, he will take over the healer body and use the healer to heal himself, but the spells are 10x more pwerful. So watch out for him ;)

well, my guild has seem to figure out whats wrong with him. The "Bug" was him doing the storm at off times, so we've learned that if one person has their ambiance all the way up, so they can call it out. We downed him in no time ^_^;

Now he's on farm :P

Yep. When ZA first opened the early strats claimed that the birds would eventually kill people, which wasn't the case. We've ignored the adds since about the first or second week of the instance opening. Targetting them is a waste of time.

Anyways, my guild pretty much ignores the birds when they come, and heal through their occasional 1k "swoops" on people. I, a rogue, only got hit by them twice in our last fight... which is pretty average for me, anyways.

We've never seen them throw people into the air for a killing blow. At least, not yet. We kinda kill Akil'zon too fast for something like that to happen. ;)

We (Sels' ZA group) ignore the birds now, as well. It really doesn't seem to make much difference. That part of the video is outdated.

Protip: when he boosts one person into the air for the lightning storm, there is a purple line going from the boss to that person. Follow that, and you find the safe spot.

You can just heal through the birds, it's no biggy. And they don't throw people up into the air, just that gust of wind thingy.

Yep, we healed through them today to test the "Birds will eventually throw you so high you die" thing too. We saw none of that. Without a warlock seeding, the fight seemed a little harder on the healers, but it didn't seem to make any other difference. (Our hunter yelling "WHOO I GOT ANOTHER ONE!" whenever he killed a flyer with multi-shot was quite hilarious though.) =)
