This is not rahman but video's problem.. Even if Rahman does Lipsync he will do it nicely which cannot be observed.. and which almost everyone does coz Live singing leaves too great impact on your throats and most of the times great performance is not insured due to various dependencies..

When i saw the live i knew that it was sync'ed.

Everybody please realize that A.R Rahman is not lip syncing in real. It's actually the channel who telecasted this video did this sound editing, where they replaced noisy live song with the original track from the movie. Usually all channels do this editing when their original video lacks sound clarity or when there is a lot of back ground noises. If you see some other concert videos of A R Rahman or other music composers, you can see the same.

It appears to be lip sync because the voice track in the song requires double voice modulation which is not easy on live (ARR would have used his complicated sound gears and softwares to do that in real recording) but here he will need a little of the original track and voice over it for the real feel. But like someone said.. who cares.. it is ARR :)

AR Rahman is lip syncing, but it was 11th hour function for AR Rahman and he agreed to do forcefully, he is holding the paper not to cheat people in fact he don't know the lines, in order to lip sync too he need to know the lines. And on a moving vehicle how can anyone sing?

I really don't care about his lip sync, all of his songs are excellent, and specially the one he sung in this video. (I mean in the CD).

At least from now on he should learn to say "NO"!

That will lead him a long way.
