Weeman when u get a pow block, do a move with ur wiimote or wii wheel right before it hits u. You lose your items but it creates a shockwave which doesn't affect you except you spin around without losing speed.

When I play mariKart on wii, I use the Game Cube controller because its easier for turning and shifting. Although the wheel makes it alot more realistic. AND DO BETTER IN RACES!!! YOU WASTED MY TIME! (You need to do some racing V.S computers first man.
