Wouldn't use IE9 if I cared for the internet to follow standards. Microsoft is well known for adopting technologies (html5) adding unsupported features and propagating incompatibilities which in the end kill any competition (while harming users).

IE9 Beta still hasn't fixed the issue with Windows Sidebar and a DPI over the standard 96 setting (which is too low/small for large screen sizes.)

What happens is the Sidebar breaks...clock freezes, pink or colored boarders around Gadgets.

This issue is known in IE8 and is continuing in IE9.

@xSuchutki The last 5 tests that IE 9 doesn't pass are unfinished standards, so it's not really worth it to pass them if they're just going to change. Also, a browser can pass the ACID 3 100% and still be very nonstandard so it's not that great a test. It's really just a sticker to put on your browser. Like saying "Part of a good breakfast" at the end of a Resses Puffs ad.

Browser vendors should care more about being very good at CSS2.1. All browsers have errors here, IE, Chrome/webkit and Opera.

As for the speed, I do not think HWA will be valuable untill HTML5/CSS3 becomes really popular, and I mean advanced. And even after that, we still have to take care of IE<9, so HW Accelleration will be for few sites, not many. Its more important, how the browser handles CSS2/Javascript.

And here, I'll stick with Chrome... or Firefox.

@MrWyldfyr i wouldn't go as far as calling it crap. Firefox's 4 tab candy is a pointless feature right now. You can spend hours organizing your tab and the second you close the browser you loose all you're hard work. Give you can click save on exit but it just feels very pointless. i've just looking forward to hardware acceleration.

Completely fake. Look very closely at 0:12 htt p ://screen cast .com /t / MzM5ZmUzMjkt (remove spaces) You can see that the chrome around the window is still appearing but the content is already there. I'd be willing to bet it's some sort of modified wrapper from the IE9 preview.
