  • Nice werk <3

  • This was tight!

  • if any of you stupid hipsters start dissin' deadmau5 and skrillex imma be pissed. this is as good if not better but they're still great. @cryogenesis007 this comment wasn't against you man :)

  • @musicfolife1 now that you've mentioned deadmau5 and skrillex, i just remembered how shit they are and how they're ruining electronic music forever. ;)

  • @DOSAGEDUBZ you blow

  • Yeah man I remember 2step, crazy groove, defo UK stamp all over this and its banning! USA back then weren't ready for this.

  • sounds pretty much like garage but, it's got that dubstep feeling :)

  • BEAUTIGARAGE

  • BEAUTISTEP

  • this is garage.. not dubstep. still fucking amazing though!!

  • El B, absolute legend, playin some old garage like this tonight,

tune into invasion radio tonight at 7pm gmt if you're into this kind of thing :-)

    (all the W's dot)invasion-uk(dot co dot uk)/tune-in.html

    (apologies for the spam)

  • El-B so frighentingly ahead of his time in terms of beats it's scary. If you heard this in a club at the time you'd realise how special his productions are. The guy is a beast. Changed the UKG game forever.

  • @JonasVanClaat tbf it was released in 2008 but his 2000ish tunes are really ahead of his time aswell

  • where can i download this?

  • is there a hi-quality copy of this anywhere?

  • It sucks living in the US, but enjoying UK music.

  • @SnifflyNose that's a-a-a-an invali-lid s-s-s-stateme-ent

  • @OtherEdgar I'm not even gonna bother arguing.

  • @SnifflyNose why are people saying stuff like this? check out 'arae' or 'svpreme' to start with. both american. soundcloud is the best place to find them.

  • big

  • el-b always makes amazing beats....theyre so infectious

  • Ok is it me the only one that hears the dude saying DJ Marley Marl? The sampled voice.....

  • @MusicManiac314 i hear that lol. how bout "keep them wanting more?

  • @Deecypher3000 Hahaha, ye ye, that might be it... Ty man...

  • @MusicManiac314 lol u ever tried de cyphering todd edwards vocals. thats a job

  • Repeat please

  • its funny not many listen to el-b but now dubstep is getting big el-b is being heard now. awesome how shit works like that.

  • I thought this was garage...

  • funny this isn't even dubstep lol

  • super gay!!!!

  • @vicker420 You must have a very low self esteem to say such a thing about yourself.

  • someone recommend some old school dubstep pls ;)

  • @manifatzigula

horsepower productions, anything from deep medi label

  • whaaaaaat this is sooo awesome ....

  • Its nice to see a dubstep video where people aren't arguing, jizzing, being 'raped by bass' and are enjoying the music instead. =p

  • MMMMMMMMM im glad that dubstep like this dont have or over use the wobble effect, fuck all that wobble bullshit. Shout out from winfield, ILLINOIS!

  • Im in miami and even i have some knowledge of these cats i mean shit i like skrillex but this OVERKILLS whatever hes doing so there peace

  • @crutchex Its a cultural thing. The fact is that alot of americans got on the bandwagon when they heard tunes like cockney thug by rusko - with alot of emphasise on the bass and transformer sounds. I would recommend typing in brostep into the search bar to hear what rusko and alot of other uk heads have to say on the debate. Dubstep is so much more than bass.

  • @crutchex Do you know what bruv, you are the first american who has ever admitted anything of life and i applaud your humility and understanding. The reason for that is that North american have their own adaptation that is pre-occupied with bass effects. Not all North American artists are like this but the majority of what i've heard is. The thing is, as you alluded to, dubstep has such a long history here in the uk and the musical style has been through many different variations.

  • haha no point arguing about origins off dif music genres cause all off them came out my japs eye wooop.... dubstep was developed in london, if u dont believe me research it mutha fackers EL-B 1 original mutha fakka!!

  • @Danjldub First release was Positive Vibes (2008) and the last one his album Origin (2010)

  • Fuck brostep, Shout out to those who know what real dubstep is. Its a UK ting

  • @Pomaori You are my men :]

bless for true dubheads, bass lovers, no drugs, just music!

  • @Dubheady Ye man same 2 u, I used to dj this stuff back in late 90s and early 00s and went on a us tour. Used to drop these 2-step rollage jams in the us dance floors and they were all like wtf is this shit ? Now they take dubstep and make a new heavy metal imitation of it. Most of those brostep cats dont even know what this is, its a shame. UK tings man

  • @Pomaori I'm not from the UK I'm from America just I discovered dubstep at a young age before it was all Americanized a.k.a ruined. Half the time I cant stand most the kids here with all there brostep n sxrillex crap lol,

  • @Pomaori No way, there are some good american producers: try Matty G, Starkey, 6Blocc...Real Dubstep is basically the underground in America.

  • @Skreeaamizm Why would i bother listening to them when i can listen to UK heads that are a million times better?

  • @Pomaori Matty G is used on dubstep allstars

  • @Skreeaamizm Well if thats how you choose to validate how good music is thats upto you. The fact is that dubstep is an amalgamation of 25 yrs (ish) of music history in the UK from jungle to DnB to Two Step to whatever you want to call todays UK bass music. You cant just learn the style overnight. Its a feel. To be honest all the Americans i've heard are just imitators, so why would i want an imitation ? UK bass has always been progressive and the progression will always come from within the UK

  • @Pomaori that is true that the best ones come from the UK

  • @Pomaori pretty ignorant to say that a music's progression is limited anywhere. Origins and dominance lie in the UK still but damn, very stupid musical statement

  • @twinpride34 No suprise your american. The foundations are in the UK and the UK style will always be progressed in the UK. The US have their own style of dubstep/brostep thats completely different to that of UK bass music and does not have the history or origins of the UK bass scene. The US scene will progress too but its a different style of music more orientated on bass wobbling effects.

  • @Pomaori ...Not all American producers are brostep. Good music is good music, whichever country it's from.

    Look up:

    Matty G - Dominator

    Noah D - Seeerious

    The Widdler - Dank Dub

  • @Skreeaamizm Ye but thats just all imitation of stuff from the UK, rather have the real thing

  • @Pomaori well, close-mindedness must really get the best of you

  • @Pomaori So whether a person is or is not an imitator is based on if they're from the US or UK? I find your thinking flawed.

  • @MissChivonne Dub/ 2-step is a culture and a way of life in london. Of course you can be from anywhere and make good music. But there is so much depth to the production of UK 2-step and there are so many different styles. All I am hearing out of the US is generic Rusko rip offs, just one style. Most US dubstep listeners dont even know the history of the music and pioneers like el-b. US dubstep is fucking terrible.

  • @Pomaori Actually, that's really interesting. Are you from London? What's it like there?

  • @MissChivonne Well, I live in greater london at the minute in romford. It's pretty shit to be honest, in romford, but london has the best music scene in the world in my opinion.

  • @Pomaori I agree that most US dubstep listeners don't know the history (or really anything for the matter) of dubstep. I don't agree that US dubstep is terrible though. Have you ever heard Noah D? Antiserum? Matty G? Check them out if you haven't.

  • @mynameisjonas45 Noah D 's examination of time!

  • @mynameisjonas45 new zealand dubstep is good though and we know the history

  • @Pomaori pretty sure this is garage

  • @xXTRISTANXx dubstep/garage same thing really bruv, especially at this time. El-b is definitely one of the founders of dubstep, not necessarily garage.

  • @Pomaori i agree on that.

  • well all the newer shit that ruined dubstep does suck. however they are all good producers. for example (and im not defending the guy) skrillex is a good producer but he makes horrible music. but he listens to mount kimbie etc. there just tryn to take an idea and build on it however there going the wrong irection.

  • @Boooshful I see what you mean but I don't see why you would honestly think that. Nothing he does is remotely original he has raped every idea from tech house and dubstep from deadmau5 and rusko. It's not that hard to be a good producer but just using someone elses ideas. But I suppose it takes some degree of skill.

  • @Pomaori i never disagreed with you and he is horrible. just crediting him for producing skills and not trying to argue. nothing good about him in his music sense.

  • @Boooshful And I agree with you I suppose I am not really one to comment as I have heard about two tunes which were awful. But I suppose it takes some skill to use a program and copy other peoples styles. Actually now I think of it, it doesn't take that much skill at all.

  • @Pomaori you still djing? if u banging out these kinda tunes u gtta tell me wher u at

  • BEAUTIFUL SOUNDS INDEED! :)

  • can anyone post up a torrent el b. i haven't been able to find anything by him in so long.

  • wat a tune after buna zoot

  • karmav, fuck off and listen to sierra leone

  • @MARCLAR187 Have some appreciation for REAL dubstep you fuck. All this wobble bullshit is ruining the genre, learn to listen to some DEEPER more INTELLECTUAL dubstep. some dubstep that actually has MUSICALITY. Here are some artist for start. Digital Mystikz, Mala, Kryptic Mindz, Silkie, Quest, Tunnidge, Ruckspin, Pinch, V.I.V.E.K, and my personal favorite, GOTH TRAD! Check out this song, Silkie - Beauty. Most beautiful and intellectual dubstep of all time, some real fucking music, no wobbles

  • @Cornbreadddd excuse me sir i was stating that he does not listen to intulectual dubstep, i much prefer mala dmz old skream youngsta and classic dubstep & dark garage then the shite that is being labelled dubstep today, sorry for the misunderstanding fine sir.

  • @MARCLAR187 Ahhh of course! My fault completely! I was trying to reply to his comment but instead I replied to your reply to his comment. If that makes any sense at all. Glad to know there are some TRUE dubstep lovers still around!

  • @Cornbreadddd and im 16, listning to dubstep since around 2006/7, annoys me now that everyone just suddenly jumped on the bandwagon because "dubstep" (skrillex and anything that sounds dirty or wobbles) is the new 'original hip thing'

  • You can actually chill to this stuff. Not like the new stuff =s.

  • The Raiser of Dubstep ♥

  • Comment removed

  • I went all across the internet trying to snag this tune only to find out the only release is on vinyl and nowhere to be found :( I can see why, though

  • @AllNightDayDream google "youtube to mp3"

  • @vertoxz123 Nah something like this demands a little more quality knawameen?

  • @AllNightDayDream good luck finding it then >_>...

  • Didn't realise this got a release. Lewis gave this to me on DAT a decade back and now I find it on Youtube. Good times.

  • There is absolutely nothing dubstep ,whatsoever about this song.

  • @karmaV enjoying the bandwagon?

  • @karmaV Get back to UKFbrostep

  • @TrippyJellyfish UKFgaystep

  • @karmaV not sure if a troll or just retarded.

  • @karmaV

If you play it on 33, it magically turns into dubstep.

  • @karmaV who called it dubstep?

  • @karmaV thats because its 2-step garage.

  • @karmaV your wobble bass got left at the skrillex page you were just on..

  • @karmaV you truly are a fucking moron

  • @karmaV GTFO

  • @karmaV Dude you don't know what dubstep is.

  • @karmaV because you don't know what dubstep is.

  • @karmaV 8 months later, you're still stupid.

  • @karmaV Oh god I just raged so hard.....

  • El-B was one of the first dubstep artists...

But the genre on this one doesnt matter

  • Nice two-step tune this aint dubstep

  • Two-step is what I live for.

  • Fucking great sound (aptly enough...)!

  • Garage 100%. The beat is a simple (but great) 2step and very El-B.

  • i like this but its pretty dire through my headphones :/

  • big track! love the vocals

  • me and my stereo are coming__o_0

  • although i am the first to argue that dubstep doesnt have to sound like "wom wom yioy gagaga yiioooy" and that early stuff like digital mystiks is better than late rusko, I have to say everything about this track makes it like UK Garage from the rhythm/beat to the bass to the sampling style and its structural style without builds. Good track

  • @Sensualsenior "wom wom yioy gagaga yiioooy" Excellent.

  • @Sensualsenior spot on mate

  • Mega like !

  • Call it heavy metal if you like, a choon's a choon. I'd love to hear this kind of stuff out. Club dubstep/d&b all becomes a bit homogenous after a while.

  • this is dubstep it dont HAVE TO have wobbles and it dont HAVE TO be KICK WOBBLE SNARE WOBBLE:s if u make music ull understand me ....

  • @XxKICKZxX I make music, and you sir are an idiot.

  • @phybrid i feel sorry 4 u i posted somethink lyk 3 months ago or wat eva and ur replying to it now :s ur so lonely ........

  • This aint fucking dubstep

  • @jamesroxursox What about it isn't dubstep? I don't want to assume things about you, but I'm assuming you are saying this because this track isn't brostep enough for you. Unlike brostep, this shit actually has something known as "creativity".

Brostep and all modern dubstep was born out of this man's(et al.) shit. Dubstep was originally a combination of garage and dub music(despite the fact that a lot of retards refer to dubstep as "dub" they are NOT the same thing). This is totally dubstep.

  • @Smellypuce this isn't dubstep this is two step or garage and don't act all superior about a topic that people have discussed over and over again.

  • @Smellypuce "What about it isn't dubstep?" The fact that it is a pile of 2-step. haha

  • @Smellypuce no.

  • @Smellypuce just hang your head, go to wikipedia and read about the shit you dont know, its called uk garage

  • classic material

  • olllllllllllllllllllllllllllllld school love dis tune sssssssssssssssssssssssssseen!!

  • nice track reminds me of burial :)

  • yeh alright man i didn't know chill.

  • careful what you say

    you sound like a dickhead

  • lol trigpeicejigs sick name jigga

  • LARGE

  • very garage.... sick though...

  • @jtallen12345 this guy is the pioneer of dubstep which is pretty cool. that's why it sounds garageish ya-know?
