  • That a real firearm.??

    Cool pack.

  • Тоже хочу такой рюкзачок от Сэма Фишера.

  • Dope, i want one , good review.

  • XD subcompact?

  • Does the pistol pack come with the sling bag when you buy it from the website, or do you need to buy each separately?

  • Can apple I pad fit in it

  • did that bag come left handed or did you modify it that way and if so how

  • @MrTexican86 its was filmed on a macbook so the camera is reversed .

  • @wonderingson with that being said. if u were to flip the bag for a left handed shooter would the bag work just as well. its kinda doesnt look like it but i cant find any good reviews or it being confirmed. can u help me out?

  • i have two questions plz

    1) did you modify the sling for left handed or did you buy it that way

    and

2)how much was it and where did you buy it?

    thx in advance

  • @chipsahoy85 thanks for sharing dickhead

  • I just got one, jumped on it once I saw amazon was selling them for more than half off ($50)

  • I believe the popularity of this bag exploded with the release of Splinter Cell: Conviction, due to the fact that it is the base for fisher's pack. The only difference is the lack of a pistol pouch on the chest-side of the bag. This leads me to my question, is that pouch on the chest-side removable?

  • @DJSvenchen yes it is it comes off and has a belt so it can be turned into a fanny-pack while the backpack remains in full usability look up the 5.11 tactical website they have a video for it on there

  • Hey wonderingson, do you think that "fanny pack" could fit a full-size handgun w/ mags? Would that be feasible (would it bulge too much... would it be just as easy to unholster... etc)?

  • @megatron515 . I have carried a full size 1911, glock17, and springfield xd service all with extra mag on different outings with no problem.

  • why would you carry a firearm...

  • @o0shreder0o because I dont live in Montreal

  • @wonderingson I doubt you would use it one day....

  • @o0shreder0o i hope i never do

  • @ddredeve I have my doubts. My 13" MacBook Pro fits barely while standing up.

  • Is this bag left shoulder use only or can it interchange?

  • ....... Holy Shit! That's the backpack from Splinter Cell Conviction! That's sweet as hell.

  • the fanny pack crawls north.

  • how well would this do carrying around books?

  • @harr7959 I don't know where you live but I wouldn't consider a responsible citizen an idiot. Also, I as well as many other people have lived here there entire lives happily. I'm sure your country is quite safe, so is ours.

  • This scares the holy living shit out of me. I am so glad I do not live in an insane country like the U.S. The idea of idiots carrying around guns is so unbelievably idiotic I can't really put it into words. I hope you manly with your guns, buddy.

  • Will this pack fit smaller framed dudes?

  • @TheForestKan i dont see why not.

  • @wonderingson Ahh, okay. I just got it for christmas, and it fits.

  • Hey wondering Son,

How big is the the sides of the backpack? and is the fannypack thing detachable?

  • @Shadow2271 one side has a water bottle pocket , and the fannypack is detachable.

  • i saw on the manufacturers website that the compartments on the strap can be removed, can you post a video without the strap compartments?

  • THAT'S BADASS.

  • its optional. you dont have to have it sticking out. you can tuck it in and zip it shut. also the zippers have holes for a small padlock.

  • the quick release on the main comparment concerns me,

Cant someone just walk up behind u, if ur somewhere busy like a street, subway and just open ur bag quickly with ease and take whats inside. like a laptop, or worse, a firearm.

is there any way to disable or hide. the quick release strap.

  • @Weasel65 it can be hidden, and the zippers have eyelets that can be locked with a luggage lock

  • Isn't the opening on the lower part an issue when carrying certain items? can I carry a laptop in there for instance?

  • @Marchof31Days I wondered about that, too ... the bag is awesome and I am just thinking which one to get the monsoon is an interessting one, too.

  • @MadameAschaschi Well, I have ti for about a month now. It's fine to carry a laptop, but it does have some issues:

    1. it's very large, and the lower corner kinda sticks out.

    2. it's a tad stiff ner the shoulder area, and can become uncomfortable.

    3. thin guys like me may find the front pouch way too cumbersome.

Apart from that, I like it a lot. All I could ask for would be for the 2nd strap to be usable without the extra pouch and some sort of handle on the side.

  • @Marchof31Days Thank you for the answer, I just ordered a monsoon and I will have a look at it: May be it won't fit me right, at least my shoulders are not that narrow for a girls, so it might work well ;). The permanent 2nd strap the monsoon comes with was one thing that made my decision. I hope I will be happy with it, else I might exchange it for a tactical select one ... :) Thank yo very much for the answer I guess a lot of people will find it very helpfull!

  • you are left hander! Me too.

And the bag is really good, not only for millitary or wargame such things, it also sutible for other outdoor activities.

    Nice.

  • do you think i can use this bag as a school bag ?is there enough space for schoolbooks and a pencil-case?

  • @tinstorm if you dont mind all the weight on one sholder then yes, I think school books and a pencil case would fit just fine.

  • hey WonderingSon,

I have read the specs on the 5.11 site and another retailer but there is no mention of the bag being waterproof / resistant ... i'm guessing it isn't, can you confirm?

    Cheers,

    Non Konnektion

  • @nonkonnekt it is resistant, though the zippers are not taped.

  • @wonderingson

    thanks for the feedback!

  • i have to ask whats your firearm? it looks like a Springfield XD

  • @pzellmer12 yes its an xd sub compact 9mm

  • i just bought this today and was curious if it comes with the chest pouch or if you bought 5.11's pouch and attached it

  • @dartvader117 yes it comes with it

  • another question. concerning the water bottle pocket, will that fit a standard 32 oz (1000ml) nalgene bottle, or does it only fit smaller ones?

  • @theDan91 standard 32 oz

  • when you remove the front pouch, the one designed for the sidearm, do you lose the secondary waist belt strap?

  • @theDan91 yes

  • where can i get one? can u post a link to a site. thanks alot and nice vid :)

  • @mattmcevoy2 the 5.11 website and many other places. just search google for 5.11 tactical carry pack.

  • Is there any chance you can review the Maxpedition Monsoon?

  • @aznlonewuff i dont own one, there are a ton of reviews out there for the monsoon. try my friend sootch. he has a great one.

  • @wonderingson Yea, I 've seen it... I might choose the Monsoon for more daily purpose... with the select carry pouch attached to the front.

    Thanks for the review/info

  • How tall are you?

  • Very nice video. Thanks for posting. You just help sell this product!

  • Cool setup, but your video is a mirror image. The spelling on your shirt and the 5.11 tag are backwards. I was wanting to run a setup like this left handed, and would be interested in seeing how it would work.

  • "Police, sheriff...civilian" lol never thought of a civilian identifier...very funny.

  • How is the CCW chest pouch attached to the sling?

  • velcro on the strap , and two belt loop type loops on the pouch

  • Cool men..

  • nice
