  • That's either a dark weather-proofing stain on your deck, or else you're due to power-wash it.

I only mention it because I feel like I'm in a body cast now because of a cartoonish banana-slip like fall I took on my deck last fall when it was wet and slippery. If my neck had hit the metal deck furniture I'd be dead or paralyzed now.

That darkness is not unlike what grows on rocks in streams. It's labor-intensive to bleach it down then power-wash it, but you'll be glad you did!

  • Ha ha! Looks like they are getting more and more adventurous!

  • Yayyyy for new toys for the grownups!!! I tried to see what kind of camera it was but I couldn't tell? It *kinda* looked like a Panasonic Lumix. Does it shoot in widescreen? I noticed this wasn't in widescreen. The quality was great though!

  • No, it's a Kodak M381 - the high end of the midrange of Kodaks. Not even HD, but that's okay, since I use it mostly for YT and TV.

The pics, however, are awesome (11mp). I got it too late for Leaf-peeping season, but I will have some winter scenes for download later.

  • @nanciesweb I thought I was getting away with murder when I got my Canon PowerShot A520 for $114 back in 2004. But it's only a 4 MP 4x Zoom, and useless for humming bird shooting. The "Digital Zoom" feature that pulls images in even closer is useless 'cause of it only having 4 MP to back it up. I could win some awards for some wild Cubist pics I've taken, though!

  • I ALMOST got a Canon power shot, but I'm used to a kodak. I had a v530 that I loved. The battery was starting to die after 10 minutes and then I misplaced it. After about a year of not having a camera, I finally bought a new one.

  • My ole Canon only came with a 16 MB card that would do one 45 - 52 second video clip. But I bought a 256 MB card that allows two 3 minute clips and maybe another a 2:15 one. (Getting a 1 GB card for it didn't boost its video storage, ha-ha.)

And it only takes AA batteries.

  • We have a new site for your new camera!

It has the look & feel of the ol YT we are used to.

Let's see if this url will post - Microcandy (dot c)

  • See u all there. ;7)

  • your kids are so cute, btw!

  • Why, thank you.
