There are absolute truths, mathematical truths, and scientific truths and theories. Absolute truths (if any) can't change. Mathematical truths depend on the assumptions of logic and some postulates. Scientific truths are measured, confirmed with experiments, or derived from these two (inexact) truths with the help of theories of varying certainty and mathematics. As science advances the results improve, and OUR UNDERSTANDING OF the truth of the world changes. Rejoice!

Well there is a difference between a card carrying atheist and you average "I don't care about God or religion" type of person, so when I say Atheist I am talking about people who have made it a conscious decision to reject God and when you put things like crosses and Bible;s in their faces they will surly be insulted (First hand experience) Now there is no such thing as universal negatives, so of course there will be some exceptions yes...
