@monkey670 I think dreamcast was too far ahead of its time, it is comparable to current gen in terms of features (not graphics), with internet play, voice chat, and even had things current gen doesnt have like screen on controllers, and higher quality games. I think Sega realized if they made a Dreamcast 2, it would be too amazing for the world itself to handle, thus ending the world in 2012. By stopping their console development, they saved the world.
