Im scared to water proof my ez start! There are large holes in it for vents, wondering if if the plasti deep would leak in and damage the motor.

i made it out of some bendable plastic and put the air filtre on it

sweet i just made my own snokle also out of plastic tubing and i am going to get waterproof servoes for my tmaxx 3.3 4908 aslo cover up the holes in the rims of my tires, then get more of those rubber seals for my pivot balls,i waterproofed my ez start i will waterproof my battery box and receiver and then it will be completly waterproof.

hey i know that this comment is late.. but dont even bother with the Ez Start. its really a waste. just get a pull starter and save room and weight. besides when u get rid of the Ezstart u have room for a bigger fueltank :P

yes this stuff does work. I put this plasti dip on my servos over a year ago and my tmaxx has been through snow, mud, water anything. before the plasti dip my servos would twitch and go haywire, now its just plain crazy

a bit of drain pipe a bottle lid with holesm on side does job and works through anythink..usualy if it stalls they suck water in or crack the head

it prevents some water from getting inside the car. Not a lot, but some. When water gets splashed up by the wheel, the water will ride on to the flap and will go on the ground instead of inside.

you did not do the gas maxx conversion did you. I dont seem like to good of an idea. The 3.3 would smoke a chainsaw. And it wont be as cool with a chainsaw motor

actually the 3.3 is way slower than a chiansaw motor if u redo the gearing in the transmisin like i did a 3.3 will do about 50 at max but with the chainsaw motor and new gearings system i had it going 65 uphill
