Hey I'm looking to buy one of the Victorinox officers mechanical watches in the next month or so..I see that they have them on Amazon for about $450, but they are close to $800 MSRP. Any idea why there is such a huge discount? There is a dealer about 30 minutes from where I live and I'd like to support them but I don't think they will give me that kind of price break. Any idea why they are able to give such a large discount on amazon?
@freedoomed there is this watch in automatic in three diferents styles chrono diver,diver, and diver titaniun with helium valve, prices from $1295 to $1495 US dollards.
Bracelet looks very nice on video, I like the fact that this watch is fully titanium which is great. Durable and light at the same time. 24 indexes are good too.

Thanks for the clarification regarding height. Watch seemed a bit thicker than just 12mm from all of the pics I've seen of it.

i have the ss version, its a great watch, although i would love that this watch could be automatic in ss version.

Very nice styling. All Titanium like my T-Touch Expert. Excellent water resistance. The lume on the bezel makes this a little different as well.

I would also like to see this as an automatic. I just can't bring myself to buy a quartz watch any more.

That is a good looking watch! Looks a lot like the Breitling divers which is a good thing.
