  • @gunwebsite u got balls firing and Ak out of hand with a potential bad head spacing. people gunsmiths go to learn this stuff for a reason, its very dangerous. My first build I made sure my smith held my hand, I didn't want to be one of those dummies that use modified bolt cutters to set the rivits, you just can't beat a press with the right fixtures.

  • unlike most countries our founding father enabled us to have rights to bare arms and form militia to protect us from a government gone bad not only protection.

  • @GunWebsites Great Video do you know if you can buy a already bent receiver for the amd 65 parts kit

  • im from england...would be nice if england took there restrictions down....alot!

  • lol, you americans talk about building an ak47 like everyone else builds a computer. No americans have any idea how lucky they are with guns

  • @Pawnbroker00

we aren't 'lucky' we are free.. and we know how little freedom many other countries have

  • @Pawnbroker00 im lucky haha. USA USA USA

  • @Pawnbroker00 hahahaha sucks to be you

  • @Pawnbroker00 Trust us, we know. We see it all around the world and how people over here want them gone. Luckliy, most people here have half a working brain and can form an educated opinion on firearms. Plus, our government represents the people on that issue.

  • WHY ARE CERTIAN PARTS CHANGED FROM ORIGINAL TO U.S

  • @MACEX1000

    laws

  • @GunWebsites do u exatly know what laws cuz i dont see the difference of a handgrip being potentially dangerous

  • Get rid of that US pistol grip and replace it with a REAL Yugo one...much better because US grips feel cheap. Just change a floor plate and you're good to go with 922r.

  • Ok...

  • Ooh I Love The Kinda Old Look To That ak

  • @09stoopidmonkey

I do too, and the best part is that is honest wear and tear. These parts kits often come from rifles used in combat, or carried for years by troops

  • I have a question. I went today in my local gun shop, and they have a "M&M llc" based on a romanian kit, quadrail, tapco trigger/muzzle brake, side folding stock .... I have never heard of M&M before today (other than M&Ms...) Any good/bad I should know?

  • @formatC2

First I've heard the name also

  • @GunWebsites what about the Romanian kit M10-762 ?

  • @formatC2 Google them, if nothing comes up then it's a boilerroom operation or being hacked together in mommies basement...

Everything I've read tells me that Romanian kits are all used parts picked from bins, Good luck getting a rifle with anything close to decent headspace.

If you buy one, spend the money on a rifle with matching numbers on the bolt, carrier, Trunion.

Lastly make certain that the sights and gasblock are in a Perfectly straight line. 99% I've looked at are crooked.

  • @Whitehorze

dude keep reading. I've personally inspected many dozens of Romy G kits and they all were matching numbers and go together very well if you know what you are doing.

  • Many of the first yugo receivers from Vulcan/Hesse had the bolt rails too low and the bolt would sometimes hang up on the trunnion. Some people wondered if they hardened the ejector appropriately, but I haven't seen that personally. Nodak Spud is a much better receiver. I would have someone rebuild this kit on a better receiver with better rivets, also a CLUE!

  • @madmailman77

good points.. there is no way to know when this one was made (perhaps pre-nodak) but this receiver does seem pretty nice compared to what I expected from hearing all the bad things about them

  • Soooo.... How much do you want for it? The one rivet on the bottom of the front trunnion isn't ground off, it is a through rivet (yugos, unlike most standard aks have a through rivet on the front trunnion) and too short. The ak-builder rivet kit have much better rivets and turn out much nicer.

  • @madmailman77

these are deff yugo rivets but I'm out of the loop, are there more than one supplier of yugo rivets these days?

  • @GunWebsites yep. There are the ak-builder rivet sets and then there are the bad ones. There aren't specific rivets for each model of ak per se, some places sell sets that contain the right amount of each rivet for a particular build (under folder rivet set, sidefolder rivet set, ect.)

  • @madmailman77 also if whoever demilled this parts kit drilled too big a hole to remove the old rivet the new rivet won't set right because it won't have enough material to fill the hole in the trunnion. This can be fixed.

  • @madmailman77 This would be a great gun, rebuilt with some skiill on a decent reciever. I bought some yugo fixed stock kits when they were first imported for $87 a piece. Then I coud see putting a scrapyard build like this together, but now that they are selling Yugo underfolders for $700 (YIKES!) this gun warrants the investment of a decent build by someone with experiance.

  • dumb question why are all these ak's imported and converted? why not just build them in the states?

  • @iamcondescending

to make decent parts, takes an investment in tools, space and money to build and of course skilled people to do the work..

I assume no one thinks the market is there to start up such an operation

  • @GunWebsites I wasn't amaing this at the video but at the people making fun of the your build. Sorry about that.

  • @TheloniouseWilse

O ok, hard to read the intent of the comments sometimes

  • i found your video interesting and helpful, maybe in the future i will be able to share this knowledge for the benefit of myself or a friend.poor sap buying a cheap rushed gun..Thanks again! :)

  • Thanks for the video. I have a Yugo M70AB2 as well, but is built almost completely different than the one you showed. I got mine through CIA and must say that its of IMO very high build quality.

  • This is not even a real yugo its made in the crappy usa.

  • man sucks that you got a bad yugo bro!..mines fantastic to rivet to dust cover and everything!...you should check out the POLISH 1960 MILLED RECEIVER

  • @DaddyO972

    not the same gun

  • i love your channel

  • that poor rifle needs a hug. =(

  • So is the stock supposed to go underneath, I'm not going to argue much, but it looks as though the end piece goes around the handguard(or something similar)

  • sounds like builder knew fuck all bout the AK-47

  • if a 14 year old is intrested in gunns

    is that normal

  • @HMKfilms360 yes. children should be introduced to guns at around 8-10 years old.

  • @JohannWendt good

  • @HMKfilms360

    I certainly was

  • @GunWebsites nice

  • Why are we ragging on the Yugo? It's a great piece of history and a great piece of machinery. Respect it for what it is.

  • 4 people put together an ak just like this.

  • Love your ak47 related video's!! Keep them coming. :))

  • Well, definitely not going to buy a Yugo, looks like a piece of shit, just like the car. Thanks for the video though, now I definitely know I'm going to just buy an Arsenal AK.

  • @wickedrebel512 yugos are great rifles you just need a solid kit\barrel Yes, arsenal is the bomb but they make nothing even close to a yugo.

  • @wickedrebel512

you could NOT have taken away the message of this video more incorrectly..

watch again, or don't bother with our vids

  • @GunWebsites i thought the video and message was very clear

  • @GunWebsites hahaha i love my Bulgarian AK-74 i got from Atlantic firearms it was made by Interarms chrome lined every thing except the bolt and bolt carrier assembly even the muzzle brake every thing nice new parkerized finish mine was mid priced 549.00 plus tax and shipping. was that a century build or TNG?

  • Comment removed

  • Dear Santa

  • Great example of an AK assembled by monkeys.

  • thanks for posting..i have bought them before but have never seen that shoddy construction.

  • IF, you have a press then build! But if you dont have a press then buy!

  • redo the build

  • Comment removed

  • wow that is a bad build..

  • I am in the process of building my first AK (still prepping the kit and gathering up tools) this is a great video for me when I build mine. Thank you.

  • that ak has mad personality

  • Comment removed

  • Are AK build parties popular in AZ? They are in CA which is nice. You'll have good people watching over. That said, I'm lazy and am buying an Interarms or Waffen Werks :)

  • @EverythingisFire

I remember them a few years back, but I am not active in building

  • Damn, you're detailed! Awesome, but detailed

  • firing an AK buttless with one hand looks so badass!

  • @ChingMan09

    don't look at my butt

  • @GunWebsites How does he look at it when its buttles XD? Great video btw!

  • builder of this rifle=dumbass

  • Oh the horror!

  • @mrwhite4 yeah, the scary part is that theiir building it fore someone eltse to shoot.

  • *facepalm*

  • Thanks for the interesting video! I'll definitely keep some of these things in mind if I decide to build an AK (though I don't have a shop press, so I imagine that would make things a lot harder). Cool vid

  • MidwayUSA,com has AK47 underfolder kits for only $169!!!

  • That is a gangsta AK :)

  • Proving that ak's will work under any sercomstances

  • thanks for the info i have been pondering this question for a while ... whats your thoughts on screw builds?

  • i want to build one, where can i get a kit for a good price.

  • Franken AK.

  • that safety stop is hilarious!

  • Ive heard that there are some issues with the yugos as a result of them having been used in, well, pick your war through the 90's. and some issues with non chome lined barrells

  • did you fix up and correct this gun? still got to love the AK,even with all the mistakes and errors ,it still fires o.k.

  • maybe they "eyeballed it" like on that episode of sons of guns what they did to that "1k yard ak"... that runs about 3 thousand bucks or up... yep I wanna spend that kinda coin on something where the builder says "eyeball it" when it comes to head spacing.

  • LOL nice quote

  • Awesome, love these kinds of videos. Good info to take to the next gun show!

  • your AK videos are always interesting to me.
