No, RAPTURE is not found because we read an english translation of the greek. No, you will not find greek words written in the english, per se. But Paul said we would be "caught up" (eng. translation) and that's what rapture means, "caught up".

What you are quoting in your post is not in the New Testament, it is in the Old Testament [1 Chronicles 16:22], and has nothing to do with a "rapture", neither does 1 Corinthians 16:22. This verse refers to the physical attacks and abuse of the Old Testament prophets God sent out. @POC777 The rapture is iminent. The rapture could have happened any minute after the 2nd temple was destroyed in AD 70. That started the ticking of the time clock. If you know your bible, you know that the rapture will happen BEFORE the 7 year peace treaty is signed with Israel. People should not hiss at each other for their own misunderstandings of the prophecy. It will not happen in the middle of the trib or after. Even if it is before the ink is dried on the treaty, it will be before.

We are not to date set because if God did not give it to Jesus when he was in the flesh, or to the angels, why would he give it to many that don't even know the bible? Honestly does anybody who puts up these youtube videos actually read their Bible without a preconceived theology? I have seen more manipulation of the Scriptures to "prove" things that are completely unscriptural & this is just one more. I can agree there is no pre-trib rapture as that is not scriptural either but God does remove his people after the tribulation by harvesting and catching them up in the air so they won't be here during His wrath. No, RAPTURE is not found because we read an english translation of the greek. No, you will not find greek words written in the english, per se. But Paul said we would be "caught up" (eng. translation) and that's what rapture means, "caught up".

@JohanDjurholm96 - The lake of fire is not Hell. Death and Hell are cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20 verse 14. There is no pre-tribulation rapture and the word does not feature in the bible. Further more all who are not asleep will know exactly what is going on and what to do when they see the signs. Further more, you are warned to flee to escape the great tribulation. It is a pity that many people await the rapture and do not know where to flee, thus they will perish.

In fact, the Catholic Church does not, has not, and will not teach the rapture as it is now conceptualized as it is pure error. The idea that it was proposed by Jesuits and promoted by a pope discredited by any credible scholar, regardless of their faith background.

In the "fly away" passages in the Bible, that confuse many, the word AIR means spirit bodies -- that we receive at Christ's return. The word CLOUDS represents the multitudes of angels that arrive with Jesus. We're not flying away to Heaven. Jesus is coming here at the 7th SEVENTH trump. New Jerusalem from Heaven, etc. :o)

What you are quoting in your post is not in the New Testament, it is in the Old Testament [1 Chronicles 16:22], and has nothing to do with a "rapture", neither does 1 Corinthians 16:22. This verse refers to the physical attacks and abuse of the Old Testament prophets God sent out. We should be "sober" and of clear mind, not all amped up and werid acting as you see on so much you tube channels preaching hell and damnation. @POC777 The rapture is iminent. The rapture could have happened any minute after the 2nd temple was destroyed in AD 70. That started the ticking of the time clock. If you know your bible, you know that the rapture will happen BEFORE the 7 year peace treaty is signed with Israel. People should not hiss at each other for their own misunderstandings of the prophecy. It will not happen in the middle of the trib or after. Even if it is before the ink is dried on the treaty, it will be before.

Jesus didn't teach about the Rapture and I know about John 14:1-3 he is talking about Heaven when the Apostles and His disciples will go after death and they did and with Him now.
You're referencing Daniel 9:27(70th week of Daniel) and 1 Thessalonians 4:17(where the word "caught up" is mentioned but translated in the Vulgate as raptus) to make your point about the Rapture there's no ground.

All are waiting for their "incorruptible bodies" which is the rapture. If you really want an excellent translation of the whole bible. (check your own King James Bible, search out every thing, find out for yourself.) He did not speak often of his "experience" on the road to Damascus when Jesus appeared to him.. For the record, the word “rapture” comes from the Latin word rapturo, which is a translation of the Greek verb "caught up" that’s found in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. "Rapture" is an English translation and guess what? There are NO English words in the Bible as it was written in Greek and Hebrew.

This video (as many people have said) has taken Bible verses out of context. I don't believe the in the rapture just because "my paster said so" I believe in the rapture because the Bible says so. Ok it doesn't use the word, but it's quite obviously implied. The book of Esther doesn't ever mention the word "God" but only a fool would say that God wasn't working behind the scenes. God doesn't need to spell everything out for us! Some things are just common sense!

So we will be protected by God, it doesnt mean we wont be here. @jsp8675309: You can easily see that it is speaking about the feasts, sacrifices, offerings, etc. And that keeping the commandments is more important than keeping the feasts. Hence Col 2:16 stating do not judge one on the sabbath DAYS, meaning do not judge if one keeps or does not keep the feasts. To claim it is the sabbath as in saturday. That contradicts scripture, many passages, EVEN the commandments which we are told to keep to the very end.

You misquoted this scripture, the bible does not say "EVIL ONE" it simply stops at "EVIL" you are manipulating scripture to fit your own context! Also the bible does not say rapture, but it explains that there will be a catching away in the twinkling of an eye, in which no man knows the day nor hour. it also says that he who letteth will let until he be taken out of the way then the man of perdition be revealed!!! who is going to be removed? could it be the holy spirit? who lives within us?

We are not to date set because if God did not give it to Jesus when he was in the flesh, or to the angels, why would he give it to many that don't even know the bible? Jesus was not kidding when he said "Seek and ye shall find." Much of that means, seek with a clear mind, don't drug or drink. and even then SEEK, he is a hard task master. Many are too lazy to really dig in.

@amazine4 True religion is calm and sure. True religion is helping the needy, preaching from sound doctrine. It is not all frenzied and amped up. It is about believing and followed by good works, not condeming a non believer, but with love to say "Christ gave us the free gift of power to overcome anything." Faith is a GIFT, it is not "foo fooed" up. If you don't believe, there is a reason for it. Silly as you say, you just can't understand right now. Maybe you are not supposed to right now.
