- I love how the referee leaves David Banks tettering on the edge of the ring hanging in the ropes just to chase Edison Miranda back to his corner.
- I think the one "dislike" for this post is from a coked-up Ricky Hatton.
@kramt28 Montiel got up, but you can't claim he'd "recovered" from Donaire's punch.
As you see, some of the other Knockouts of the Year were similar where the victim got up, but the fight was stopped immediately after. Montiel got up long enough to take a couple more shots and really probably shouldn't have been allowed to continue after flopping around on the canvas before getting up.
Either way, I can't think of a better candidate so far of KO of the year.
