  • hey, when exactly is this god fellow gonna come and ass some judgement? Jesus thought it would be right after his death, paul wasn't sure either- he thought it would be during his lifetime.

john that wrote the revelation book thought it was going to happen to emperor nero-666

Every decade we get someone saying it is going to happen within their lifetime, and guess what? Jesus isn't coming back, so you should go ahead and try to make the world a better place on your own and with your loved ones

  • so Kent speaks of the qu'ran as a typical american - does he not know of lines in the qu'ran that say to be good to the other people of the book? i think they are talking about his book...

i wonder if Kent's children ever talked back to him. must not have or else they would have had their skulls bashed in by a rock.

  • sir, your common designer is natural selection.

  • I thumbed this video up... not because I support the title but because Kent Hovind DESTROYS this competitors argument!!!!! I dont understand why this says Kent Hovin debunked. Ther poster must not have watched this video.

  • Fuck you kent :)

  • Kent you're right god made some pretty powerful rules. Work on a sabbath and you have to be stoned to death and not the fun herbal kind. Your little god says nothing against slavery and supports it. And ok do what god says so if my wife is not a virgin on her wedding night she must be stoned to death.

  • So Kent god or allah? Don't forget Thor, Neptune, Venus, Krishna, Horis etc etc etc etc O sorry you can't answer because you commit fraud and were jailed

  • I can't believe how uninformed Hovind is when it comes to the Grand Canyon. He is a charlatan who deceives people for his profit. His beliefs have been debunked and only work on the uneducated masses already indoctrinated into christainity.

  • Kent was so opposed to taxpayer's money being used to teach evolution that he declined to pay his taxes for 10+ years!!!

  • you can polish that turd all day long... you can even put a hat on it, its never going to be anything more than a turd in a hat.... even if there is a god.

maybe Isaac took his knife out of his pocket and god thought "shit, thats another FAIL, when are these losers going to learn that wrong is wrong"

in this day and age there is a type of person with the spine to say "no, sorry god, i cant do that because its bad" and just maybe god thinks "its about f***ing time!"

  • @Mark777X OOps ... i mean Abraham... Isaac was on the other end of the knife :)

  • That's NOT PROOF. That's just saying, our current knowledge doesn't explain it so Goddidit! That's just not proof! I wish I could punch that guy, even though I'm not a violent person. >.<

  • And Kent Hovind's two favourite lines from all the videos I've watched:

    1. "We can talk about this a long time." (but we shan't because I don't know any more than what I said)

    2. "That's a LIE, and we shouldn't be using taxpayers' money to teach this." (so I don't pay my own taxes since this reason makes it okay to commit tax fraud)

  • 5:02 And when you read the Bible it says only those that believe in Christ are granted eternal life. What a magnanimous God indeed. *shrugs*

  • Kent Hovind? Oh man.. I thought the only person still standing behind Hovind was his cell mate..

  • Hovind loses on so many points, it's too bad that he didn't have a better opponent to point them out, such as that the bible says that anyone working on the sabbath is to be killed, or that unruly children are to be stoned, or that if you wear cloth of two different materials you are to be killed (which would include just about the entire human race right now). Etc...this was just such an obvious attack point in which Hovind would have been humiliated.

  • allah is the same God of the Bible...guess who the most discussed person in the Quran is?.... the messiah Christ...read it before you judge it and it is prophesied in the bible

  • hey YTBscience - y do you say Kent got owned or EVEN debunked ?

+ y havn't you changed the title to show = he walked all over that Evol dude ?

    -

Kent tells the truth that MicroEvolution happens + that may be what ERVs can do = i don't know all about it = but MacroEvilution is NOT possable

  • @rammar09

Macro Evolution has been observed. For example the London Underground Mosquito. A new species of Mosquito found in the London Underground system.

  • Hovind owned? debunked? I don't think so. Hovind's science made sense to me. He could have left out the whole bible and God and Save U stuff, but overall I think he made is point. "Evolution is as much a LEAP OF FAITH as believing in god." There is no real evidence to show that humans evolved from nothing. That destroys all known laws of Thermodynamics and proper science.

I might not want to believe in the god of the bible, but I think there could possibly be some intelligent design at work.

  • @spectresque For someone that does not believe in the God of the bible, you bought in to a lot of creationist propaganda. Of course there is no evidence to prove that humans evolved from nothing, because that is not what the theory of evolution states. This is a straw man of evolution. Evolution does not violate any of the laws of thermodynamics, since earth is not a closed system. The sun provides all the necessary energy to fuel evolution.

  • @spectresque You are right about one thing though. Hovind did not get owned. He knows enough scientific jargon to convince the layman that he knows what he is talking about. To someone who actually understands science, it's painful to hear him talk. You simply cannot beat someone like him in a debate, he can produce 100 lies in the same amount of time that it takes to debunk one of them, and the science would be lost on the majority of the audience. Of course, Hovind knows this full well.

  • The fact that this was filmed in front of an audience of retarded monkeys proves that evolution is legitimate.

  • @Unintelligenda just read your words, and see how nasty you are---can't you see that quality people do not view humans in that light?

  • @Unintelligenda LOL Are you stupid? Why don't you prove me with a list of evidence for evolution then we'll move from there, evolution is nothing but wishful thinking for those who wish it to be true because of their blind ignorance of god and a stubbornness to reject divine intervention. It's sad how idiots such as yourself and other evolutionist retards like to believe in a pokemon world; where creatures evolve, how sad and how fucking retarded, common sense can dictate how retarded it is

  • @kingseho Look dude, I KNOW and THEY know that theirs is a lousing cause... but insulting them will only anger them and want to judge us SO .... let god do the judging. Try to beat darkness with light instead of cornering it and torturing it. instead , save and cherish it. :) peace

  • @pyrobolt707 Nah, i'll beat them using science, they claim to have evidence yet all they have is lies and assumptions, this isn't pokemon, evolution is just wishful thinking for those who wish evolution were true.

  • @kingseho Dude you dont need to beat them cuz i think their tired of lousing to us BUT if you get them angry they'll just want to fight back and recent christians. Dont you see? ur helping the fire for the end times. were gonna be hated mostly by atheist who hate us enough already. yeah fight back their ignorance and bliss but dont torture them when you win hep them finally discover the GOD Pokemon ... i forgot his name XD

  • this audience is retarded

  • i never claimed to be an example of christian ethics. i'm just a fallible human. christianity doesn't need "christians" to be examples. it just needs them to preach the gospel of christ. if people follow the teachings of christ, it is ultimately up to them to do so...or not. it has no bearing on whether someone else did or didn't. christian traditions are what the u.s. was founded on. they were kept until about fifty years ago when the "10%' began their clamoring

  • @ultrakool christianity doesn't need "christians" to be examples

where are you getting this from? i got this from the Bible..."Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an EXAMPLE of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

where is the evidence to back your claim that, "christianity doesn't need "christians" to be examples"? apparently, your Bible disagrees with you.

  • @watty024 first off, you're an unbeliever who spouts scripture in a debate. whoa, what do you think this is? church? you're not a very good role model for your fellow atheists. secondly, you judged my charachter because i diverted my answer with factual statements re: american traditions, that backed up my claim. you think your shit don't stink. who are you to judge me, heathen? nice try, though. christianity relys on it's adherents to spread the gospel of salvation through jesus christ, period

  • @ultrakool nah, this is youtube. and you got caught in a lie. saying that christians don't need to be examples. your Bible says you do. deal with it.

american traditions didn't back your claim. you got owned. just look up all the court cases where religion is trying to be crammed down the innocent kids throats. fail again.

  • @watty024 where is the lie. i stated a fact. christianity doesn't need anyone to be an example. in fact, it doesn't "need" anyhing from christians, at all. the apostles exhorted one another to be good examples, but christ said: 1.) love the lord thy god with all your heart, mind and strength and 2.) love your neighbor as yourself. that's what i try to do. so you misunderstood my point and twisted it to make me look bad. again, nice try. you're laughable. spreading the gospel of salvation is key

  • @ultrakool where is the lie? you're telling it to yourself. it's between you and your god now. why would i curse god? it would be like cursing the easter bunny. liberal supreme court judges have upheld the constitution. sorry if you want to live in the 1770's still, but really, society has moved on. did you know women can vote now? and blacks can own property? and children under 14 are banned from working in factories? what about those traditions?

  • furthermore, it can even be said that you cold curse god all day and you're not going to hurt him. or you can love god and praise him all day and you're not going to help him. why? he's an infinite being. he doesn't get any benefit out of you obeying him. he doesn't get any hurt out of you cursing him, but out of love he came to earth to offer a sacrifice so that you can be reconciled to him, so that he could remain just, and you could be brought into his presence for eternity, even tho your not

  • @ultrakool what cute story

  • @watty024 i think i may have misworded the ending of my last comment, so don't misunderstand me : "so that god could remain just (even though you're not just). no one is. my hope for you is that you will spend eternity in his presence and i wanna apologize for offending you. stop holding on to francis collins pipe dreams. i've nothing more to say. peace

  • @watty024 btw, be very careful how you bandy about god's word. you'll be under far greater judgement since you have fully recognized it and then threw it away, cuz "now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to god" romans 3:19 it seems you may have incriminated yourself. i'd rethink this evolution if i were you and give your heart to jesus, you've picked the wrong faith

  • @ultrakool you have absolutely incriminated yourself, and i'd rethink your approach to debates, because you may have just sealed your own doom. "Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock". 1Peter 5:3 hold on though, i thought you said christianity doesn't need christians to be examples? and the verse from 1Timothy also says you should be an example. hmm...i just don't know who to believe. more importantly, what do YOU believe? the Bible, or yourself?

  • well i know one thing the flying spaghetti monster came to me in my sleep last night and we joked about how pathetic Christians are and how they can't see his divine light i mean its so obvious the fsm created the world the proof is everywhere in the trees and the clouds to the birds and the fake dinosaur bones he put everywhere have fun going to hell you foolish Christians the fsm is the only way into heaven may the flying spaghetti monster have mercy on your souls i will pray for you r'amen

  • Still believing the embryos have gill slits! Every life form consists of nano technology that has to grow the same way. Where is the comparison to seeds growing??? We don't look like seeds growing. How about creatures with exoskeletons??? We don't look like larvae. All animals start out round. What does that prove??? Absolutely nothing. It is different genes responsible for similar parts so embryos and adult life forms disprove evolution. Mutations don't add up.. watch?v=lEledPONpkQ
  • "... don't want to cut down perfectly good trees to print perfectly bad lies."

Could say that for most religious texts tbh :/ I also find that biblical quote ludicrous. It's the core reason that atheists are so vilified in the general public - it's presupposed that atheists somehow think god exists but just don't want to follow the commandments, but the whole point of being atheist is that you do not have any reason to believe god exists.

  • @DenoNomer i don't want to sound like a tool here, but have you ever investigated the matter or have you just gone upon contemporary face value that he doesn't exist. i was atheist once upon a time. i even set out to disprove yhwh. once i became intellectually honest with the issue, i found myself becoming more and more theist. after all, the judeo-christian bible claims that it is truth. that's what motivated me to disprove it. you should try it. what can it hurt?

  • @ultrakool Didn't see your reply til now. But yes, I have investigated the matter & the texts. My family is extremely religious. The more I tried to see it their way, the more it just became a silly game of "you can't prove he doesn't exist" and "you can't prove he does." I guess we just had different experiences. I don't actually like telling people god doesn't exist - it feels like I'm some jerk telling a kid that their invisible best friend or Santa isn't real.

  • someone sent me to this video to see Kevin Hovind getting "owned" by an evolutionist. overall, this guy couldn't handle his business. but that's ok, Hovind is no easy oponent.

  • hovind rapes this bloke

  • JESUS IS LORD! HE WILL ALWAYS BE THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

He doesn't need your approval! He is still number 1!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus is LORD

  • Hey now! I'm a creationist! I believe man mad gods! Lol! It always makes me lol to think about these Christians that always try to bring Hitler into the conversation. His brutality was short lived and was stopped by man. They worship a god that is still burning people alive forever in their minds. Lol!

  • fucking creationist

  • @hidaka666

    cry matey cry

  • Just Terrible. Average european biology teacher on a high school level would easily scooff over such nonsense. Most distrubing was all that applause

  • Since January 2007, Hovind has been serving a ten-year prison sentence after being convicted of 58 federal counts, including twelve tax offenses, one count of obstructing federal agents, and forty-five counts of structuring cash transactions. He is currently incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution, Jesup.

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

  • @101Nissan I would agree that his conviction is evidence that he is a sinner, if in fact he was guilty of said crime. No Christian would ever make the claim of being perfect or even being good, on the contrary, God is the only one who is Good. Whatever the case, his conviction has no bearing on the truth that evolution is a religion and should be taught dogmatically in schools.

  • Firstly, no the Colorado river didn't ever flow uphill, but thats because it didn't always flow in the direction it flows now, and it eroded through the canyon 5 million years ago to flow how it flows now. What wasn't mentioned is that the rock making up the grand canyon has taken AT LEAST millions of years to be built up. Oh yeah, fossils have been found in that rock as well (making them millions of years old). The seabed, Volcanoes, earthquakes and more wouldn't exist in a 6000 year old earth

  • This is the real reason Hovind is in prison. Forget about the tax issue. That could have been resolved with letters. Laws were broken in his arrest, the seizure of his monies and the subsequent treatment of the case.

  • @KnowJesusKnowPeace that's right, if you can't silence them, jail them. so what if you use draconian tax laws that violate four or five u.s. constitution amendments? rather than paying a couple of $50 fees to smooth over the whole mess, kh refused to bow to "idols" and was thrown into the "furnace". good on him

  • @Mryousonastyful Proof of evolution? Well lets see, we could start with DNA, with is very good proof. And then of course you have the biographic distrubution. How ever, I think the main problem is that people dont know what a spiecy ACTUALLY is, and thats why they dont believe it. So before I bother going any further I want you to explain to me what you think a spiecy is.

  • And it's not "HAY-kel" you ignorant twat it's "HECK-el."

  • For fuck's sake. PLEASE stop titling your countless videos "Kent Hovind OWNS blahblah." Hovind never "owns" anybody in these brainless videos. He's not a scientist. He has no real education. He's a religious zealot, conspiracy theorist and FELON currently in prison. Go do the world a favor and get yourself a library card or at least try to pass a high school biology class. Thanks.

  • @sleepcity Yes, and Hitler was an atheist and we know what he did.

  • @TheGreekMan1981 Ummm Hitler was raised Roman Catholic.

  • @Ethreo and? Doesn't matter what he was raised, it only matters that the man believed he himself was God and he killed MILLIONS. He was simply another lunatic atheist in this world

  • Hovind is a damn liar and he deservedly rots in jail.

  • how can any biologist with respect for himself debate kent hovind?

  • @gulbirk if evolutionists werent such asinine weasels id feel sorry for them.

  • @betterworld1 They arent weasels, they have no interest in talking to people like Mr.Hovind because to them, he apears to be a compleate retard.

  • @gulbirk actually they have no interest in talking to people like hovind bc they show what complete asses they are.

  • @betterworld1 No, LOL. Havent you heard of the biologist who asked if it was possible for creationisme to last in schools. How would you teach creationisme for a whole semester, without bringing in God. I dont think thats possible because creationisme is nothing. Its only the rejection of evolution+God. You do know that if a biologist choose to debate guys like Hovind its going to look REALLY BAD on their CV.

  • @gulbirk 'nothing' would exist without God despite your desperate depravity in believing that theres no God to sin against. theyre going to look bad period; as everybody ive seen does while debating creationists.

  • @betterworld1 Everybody? I havent seen a single debate where a creationist can present anything that cant be refuted, name one good argument. Btw, if there is a God then prove it.

  • @gulbirk have you even listened to this video?

  • @betterworld1 Yes, not one single argument that biologists couldnt have answered that made sense.

  • @gulbirk the universe is purported to be finite. it contains atoms on the order of 10 to the 66th power. the holy bible is the only religious text on earth that lives by the claim of it's prophecy accuracy track record. of the some 800 prophecies it claims, half have come true. the odds of that occurring are on the order of 10 to the 149th power. if that doesn't prove to you there is a creator of the universe, who has given us his word, then i feel sorry for you

  • @gulbirk ** the odds are 1 in 10 to the 149th power (in other words, impossible) and yet, they came true. with god, all things are possible

  • @ultrakool Very strange obsession with odds. Does this mean if you won the lottery you would not believe it and refuse to accept the money because the odds are so high against you winning it? If a leaf fell from a tree and landed on the ground do you refuse to believe that it just happened because the odds of it landing there and not the billions of other positions it could have landed in are astronomical? I wonder what the odds are for Americas survival with its current education system?

  • @greeny202a thx, for making my point. you can't refute something when it occurs against astronomical odds. yes, the american educational system is indeed in trouble (due to the nea's obstinate stance). i weep for our future

  • @greeny202a **education

  • I cant believe that someone can use quotes from the bible in a debate.... But the American crowd seem to love it. Weird.

  • @TheNomad1970 nothing weird about it 'tall. you see, the american culture is not as jaded as the european cultures when it comes to accepting biblical truths. by and large, we are the land of free thinkers. after all, creationists choose to accept one dogma and evolutionists, another dogma. the only difference is, creationists don't try and cram theirs down kid's throats in the public school system, at every taxpayer's expense

  • @ultrakool Land of the free thinkers huh? Ive been to both the U.S and Europe.

i found the Europeans not only much more aware of world affairs all round, but more educated, refined,

graceful and willing to listen. You seem to think that evolution is a fly by night theory, one easily debunked. You oppose it being taught in science in public schools? Well considering it is a strain of science, its not going to be taught in art class is it? You cant cherry pick science.... thats just "jaded"

  • @TheNomad1970 you dare to criticise my american astuteness? wha?...from a bloke who comes from a land down under? ha. where beer does flow and men chunder? you're an aboriginal wannabe usurper, despised in the civilized world's eyes as the worst of human oppressors. oops, wait...i almost forgot about so. africans, a fellow pome stooge country. how does tha feel, aussie? get used to it. cuz all your freedoms are gonna be lost along with your human dignity, cuz you forgot who your maker was

  • @TheNomad1970 no,no,no, you dummy. europeans go along to get along. don't ever ask them to stand up for anything...you just might die trying

  • @TheNomad1970 have ya recovered yet, mate? just a lil in yo face. no hard feelings, i expect

  • @ultrakool Er yeah,Ive recovered ;) Troll much? no hard feelings at all

  • @ultrakool creationists do try to cram it in public, period.

  • @watty024 you're wrong. unlike evolutionism, creationism is taught in private institutions at the expense of the willing. john q. taxpayer pays nothing for it

  • @ultrakool i'm not wrong. national day of prayer, prayer at grads and football games, religious statues or displays in gov't buildings, prayers to open sessions of congress etc. as far as trying to cram it down throats in public schools, they are trying. just look at the list of court cases where creationists are trying to get the ridiculous theory of ID into public schools. they actually went to court to try to cram it down our kids throats. tell me i'm wrong again.

  • @ultrakool i don't now how we got on to how people can believe in evolution. your last message to me, while a great bit of sermonizing, did nothing to address the argument we were having. you said i was wrong, but you were the one that was wrong. do you admit it and apologize? no. you change the subject and insult me. good role model for jesus, you are.

also, when will you americans realize that your country has a constitution. 90% don't get to tell the other 10% what to do. remember slavery?

  • @watty024 jesus doesn't need a role model...he is one. but i get what you're trying to say. who are you a role model for?

  • @ultrakool i never said jesus needed a role model. are you sure you got what i was trying to say? i was trying to say that you are not a good role model for people who want to follow the teachings of jesus. and again, you change the subject from the argument. you said creationists don't try to cram creationism down our throats. you are wrong here, not me.

  • @watty024 but according to your logic, it's perfectly acceptable for the 10% to tell the other 90% what to do (as is the case of evolution being the only option being taught in american public schools). canada has a constitution, too. so go mind your own country's business and butt out of ours

  • @ultrakool it is not perfectly acceptable for 10% to "tell" the other 90% what to do. but it is ok for the constitution to protect the 10% from the 90% who want to put RELIGION into PUBLIC schools. separation of church and state. without the constitution, every crackpot religious nut with a story about how we got here would be teaching it to children. instead, even though creationists actually go to court to try to cram creationism down our throats, the kids are taught science.

  • @watty024 btw, the words separation of church and state don't appear in any official government documents authored by the founding fathers. this concept and these particular words were invented by an ACLU attorney named leo pfeffer in 1947, in the supreme court case of everson versus board of education of ewing township. i'm guessing you didn't know that, but then again, why should you? you're canadian

  • @ultrakool you still have a constitution, don't you? what are all those amendments in there? were they written by the founding fathers? well, i guess they don't count then, do they? you disredard my whole argument, but pick up on five words, and because they weren't written by the founding fathers, you dismiss the whole argument? ok, take out, "seperation of church and state". now what is your rebuttal?

  • @watty024 liberal supreme court judges have taken away the traditions that the founding fathers instilled in america. i don't like it, sorry

  • @watty024 you are wrong, face it. national day of prayer is traditional. prayer at grads and fb games is traditional. religious statues/displays in gov't bldgs are traditional. congress has opened in prayer since ben franklin suggested it. having equal time in publics schools is fair and not "cramming down throats". evolution being the only option is very "cramming", however. just because the revisionists came along and usurped this country's traditions doesn't make it right

  • @ultrakool you are wrong, face it. you said relidion isn't crammed down our throats, then you list off all the religious things done in public. tradition? you want to live in the 1870's? creationism is trying to cram religion down our throats in public schools. teach you r creation stories in church, and leave the science in the public schools.

  • @watty024 funny thing is, you are right, after all. religion is being crammed down kids throats in public schools. evolution is a philosophy, not an experimental, demonstrable science...a dogmatic faith, if you will. you are charles lyell and charles darwin's wet dream. they were counting on easy marks like you

  • @ultrakool you wanna bring up darwin? i'll bring up francis collins. you know, the scientist that was the head of the human genome project. he seems to think evolution is a fact. am i his wet dream also? am i an easy mark for francis collins too? yeah, i bet francis collins was just counting on me and all the other atheists to believe his theory of evolution.

  • So I guess I'll just wait until I'm on my death bed to accept god, that way I can do whatever I want until then.

  • @jesseekstrom As long as you don't get hit by a train.

  • Wow, this crowd are crazy! If Hovind tried this in the UK he would get shot down straight away!

  • Kent Hovind....oooooooo takes YEC delusion to a new level, and that's saying something.

  • Thank goodness this guy is in jail now, I dread to think of the damage he could do to the gullable uneducated american populous by spewing this drivel!

  • @greeny202a who is gullible? the american populous (or as you may refer to as "jesusland") is not nearly as "gullable", as you put it, and uneducated as you presume. that is precisely the problem for the theory of evolution

  • What flood? If you go to Fish lake Utah, you will see the Clonal Quaking Aspen, still ALIVE, and well. No flood damage here, and it is 80,000 years old....In the arctic they found bacteria that is over 700,000 years old. Type in Rachel Sussman, and her study of plants 2,000 years old, and older. There are many more listed/ Again I say, What flood?

  • Evolution is true, just look up ERVs, he's just not admitting that evolution is true.

  • Didn't look all that owned to me.

  • @samrayiii Stupidity blinds you

  • @keithpetro all skeptics think theyre geniuses and smarter than thou, Denial Blinds you

  • @samrayiii I do not deny that I think I am smarter than you...
