  • can you please show an overview of the entire thing. i wanna see the back, and im dying ot know how the hell you fit a comp inside

  • Nice work. Now if I only had the cash to build one. *starts saving*

  • This is pretty damn awesome, but I do have to ask... how do you plan on running games that use other controllers with that box? SNES will require six buttons; so will Sega Genesis. Playstation will need eight.

    If you can figure that out, though, this would be something I'd love to have.

  • Glad you like it!

    The box was build to look like a NES, which is why it only has the original 2 NES controller ports on the frontside.

    Although it has a few USB ports on the backside, where you can plugin USB-joypads or Adapters and use the controllers you want, when emulating other systems! :)

  • all of my roms are .nes. im using windows xp pro.

  • Can I ask what kind of drive you are using. Is it hard drive, or solid state? I'm looking at doing this with a CHEAP mobo, Solid state drive, and a shuttle PC case. I currently use an old PC, but that's boring me. Thanks! Nice setup.

  • Im using a 2.5" 160gb 5400 Rpm HDD.

  • my roms dont run do they have to be a certain format, spelt correctly. i can get any rom to work

    thank in advance

  • What kind of ROMS are you running, and which OS are you using? Example; I have LOADS of old NES Roms, my emulator box runs a BAREBONES XP install, my emulator is VirtualNES. For this situation - the ROMs SHOULD have a .nes extension. This varies from console to console, but GOOD generic advice is to get your ROMs from a good source. Most ROMs are packaged in zip files, so you MUST extract the rom before you can play it.

  • Congrats from HyperSpin. Nice video and love the NES box. We would like to know what you've done to make that. Maybe post over at the forum, thanks!

  • Thanks! - and thanks for this awesome Frontend!

    I'll head over to the forum's as soon as i get a little free time! :)

  • What version of Hyperspin are you using? My MAME intro looks a bit different.

  • I'm running Version 0.8.0.0 --> Great Frontend! :)

  • Nice Machine, lookin forward to try it;)

  • Cool, especially the mouse :) Wow, that frontend is slick. I'll have to check it out.
