@EnlightenmentANAVRIN I like both bands but I think Blind Melon was a more complete band. Nirvana was mainly Kurt. Obvioulsy Dave is one of the best musicians to come out of that era (in technical terms even better than kurt) but kurt was really aggressive with his music. I think almost every Blind melon song is a creation of the entire band. I think Glen Graham wrote the music for car seat....just my opinion though. Glad to see others who are fans!

Yeah Dave does have a lot of talent because Kurt mainly just screamed his inner feelings. I personally only like 4 or 5 Foo Fighters songs though. On the other I do agree on the fact that Blind Melon has the input of all the members of the band.

First off why do you have to be so insecure kiss904 and start comparing whos better theres more meaningful things inlife. I would say in terms of music Blind Melon was scratching the surface and if Nirvana kept on going they would have been makingthe same repetitive shitty music that only endeared the fans to be like minded when Kurt killed himself so didadoring fans. Atleast Shannon had tried and notended it so easily like Kurt.
