Metallica is horrible now. James's vocals are really hard to listen to. He should probably drop out of metal to go do country. Lars is a half assed drummer. Kirk makes the most repetitive solos. Rob sucks compared to other bassists. World painted blood, Th1rt3en, and Worship music made Death Magnetic look like a piece of shit.

I'm not gonna hate on Metallica, but personally I think Megadeth have always been much better musicians. Even though James is technically a better vocalist, Megadeth's songs contain more harmonized vocals and personal lyrics, and they generally just come up with more exciting, more fast paced and more aggressive material than Metallica, although they proved with Countdown that metal isn't all about chugging heavy powerchords or playing as fast as you can 'til your fingers bleed.

man i have attempted to see meg twice! once with pantera/ozzy/slayer 1998 & completely missed their set! saw them over the weekend!!! 1st time! missed the first three songs....BUT i walked through the magic curtain to angry again!!!!!!!!! i thought i was going to involuntarily dive from the balcony into the pit from sheer adrenaline! the security guard immediately ran over & demanded that i stop slam dancing in the stairwell! that's how purely awesome it was just to be there. a lifetime memory!
