Jack Palance was one of those men who lived a hell of an intresting life. When he was an Armor officer in the second world war, he suffered from burns when his tank got hit..and had to have some surgery, He is without any doubt, the hardest, meanest looking man who ever played a heavy! But he was a hell of a talented actor who should have gotten an oscar or emmy for playing in requiem for a heavyweight! JACK had talent bar none. He was a true actor and a hell of a man!

I remember this. I don't know how old he was but it embarassed me that he felt he needed to prove himself somehow. BUT he isn't alone. Gooding Jr. did the spin. I don't think it worked but what the hay! JP was always a scary chacter to me in the western until the cowboy movies with Billy Crystal. I'm glad he did those and ended his huge career like that. :)
