  • I'm a vegetarian so do you think that it would be a good idea to have a glass of soy milk instead of chicken or meat ? Also, i find soy milk tastier than normal milk so do you think soy milk is a better alternative to normal milk ? I'm not so sure of the pros and cons of soy milk. pl let me know :)

  • Hey are you married? Cause I think I'm in love lol. You are single handedly responsible for me losing over 35lbs in about 2mths. (I'm on bended knee) :)

  • thank you for sharing! I am a cancer survivor who is trying to lose weight and become healthier! I love this video, it's very simple to use!

  • Thank you so much, this is really helpful

  • So thoughtful... I'm definitely going for this bear... Thanks a lot! =)

  • You look VERY healthy. Are you a vegetarian?

  • Hi, no I am not and thank you for your compliment :o)

  • Thanks. This has helped a lot. Ive never learned such an easy way to add the right kinds of foods to my diet. And it's cute :)

  • bear? thought its mickey mouse :P..it s too cute

  • Oh dear, I hope you have stopped doing that. How about practicing deep breathing and slow stretching to help reduce tension and stress. Also, I have some wonderful relaxation videos to help you take restful breaks throughout the day or even to help fall asleep. Please give them a look, I think you will find them to be helpful.

  • You're very welcome! Glad to help :o)

  • that's cute lol

  • Love this! The food bear is a cute and simple way to remember things. I am about to start on a new meal plan and will use these suggestions. I have A LOT of weight to lose, and major lower back issues, so exercise is HARD. I will mainly be focusing on my diet. Anyway, thanks for this!

  • i lovee this video you just made it sooo much easier for all of us that are trying to eat healthier! thnxs i will try it out and let u knw how it goes:)

  • Hi, thank you for clarifying. I have heard of these mini-strokes but didn't think of it because of your young age. It's definitely something your doctor should advise you on. A life change is probably a good idea and you should discuss that with your doctor and I'm sure you would definitely benefit from a healthy diet. A poor diet and lack of exercise can be one of the risk factors for these mini strokes.

  • Hi how about trying seltzer. You still get the bubbly experience and many of them have natural flavoring, but you don't get all the adding color and sugar. Thanks for your great feedback on my video; so glad you liked it :o)

  • Hi, you can certainly get dizzy because of lack of proper nutrition. You are probably not consuming enough calories and that is also probably why you don't have a lot of energy to work out. I am not familiar with TIA. Can you tell me what that stands for then perhaps I can answer your question. Of course, I am not a doctor, or nurse, but I will try to help.

  • oh i almost forgot, i buy yo-plait 99% fat free strawberry yogurt as a snack since I'm pregnant i get soooo many fatty cravings so i pull it out when i have a snack attack. The thing is, would plain yogurt be better then flavored yogurt?

  • Hi, plain yogurt has less sugar, so if that is something you are concerned about, then switching to plain will lower your sugar intake. I have a tip for you that I do because I too, like to have flavored yogurt periodically as well. I will mix plain non-fat yogurt in a bowl with a spoonful of strawberry jam. Just stir it up good and you get a wonderful flavored yogurt with less sugar than the yogurt you buy. You can control how sweet you want it by adding just the right amount of jam.

  • Of course, you can use other jam flavors as well!

  • i buy microwavable veggies for my family, is it healthy? or does it really make a difference?

  • Hi, microwaveable vegetables are fine, however, I always recommend that you microwave them in a glass bowl with cover rather than any type of plastic container they come in.

  • ive been listening to raw foodists like liferegenerator and durianrider. they believe in deleting meats and dairy and grains and filling up on raw fruits and veges. liferegenerator just rode a bike from la to ny on fruits and veges and durianrider used to be unhealthy but now is a top marathon contender and is always strongly arguing against the 'normal' food recommendations.

  • thanks dear... you are such adorable...)

  • hi again! this video was extremely helpful...im in college, and i am definitely going to print this out!

  • thank you, I also learn so much from your video. I was wondering if you could share with us about exercise? How much should we do, what to pay attention to, etc?

  • Hi, you may want to consider adding more variety to your day. You are getting very little dairy. You could add some at one of your snacks, perhaps the after dinner one as milk or other dairy can help you sleep better. Also, your main meal with most of your nutrition is at dinner, you may want to have something more substantial at lunchtime. I'm wondering if you work out. If so, do you find you have enough energy? You have very little carbohydrates in your day for energy. Just some thoughts.

  • Thank you so much for this video. It was very interesting as well as helpful. I have a question, could you eat some boiled potatoes or is that unhealthy for you?

  • Can you do a meal plan for a week like what you eat throughout the day?? Thxc

  • how abt drinking coffee?..is tat bad?..i have to drink coffee atleast once a day for tea time.its like a habit for me.

  • Hi, coffee is not bad for you, actually it contains antioxidants just like green tea and chocolate so it is beneficial for you. Of course, in moderation. 1-2 cups a day is fine. Too much caffeine and you get jittery :o)

  • Oh, how cute!!

  • Oh lady, I gotta find your video about nails. How do you keep them so long, phhheewww!!!! :D

  • dear tipy, u are such a darling... i will follow now bear properly,, i have to lose 20 pounds.. i am also working ur cardio video..

my prob is i do yoyo diet 5 days diet,d days junk..how to get rid of this prob and the other prob is i am total sugar addictive.. if i dont eat sugar i just faint,,my sugar just get low.now i have start 5 small meals..

  • Hi, that can be corrected by selecting better sources for your sugar. You need to add grains, fruits, yogurt instead of simple sugars to your diet. Whole grains are processed slower and will stabilize your blood sugar, so have a natural sugar like a piece of fruit which has fiber as well and have a bit of cereal, nuts, or yogurt with it. You will get sugar for your pick me up but it the insulin response in your body will be more even. No more surges and dives.

  • Love the food bear concept to help eat a healthy diet.

  • Can you please do your videos in a bikini? It would make them more interesting. And your hits would go way up!

  • I have a question, what if i want to gain weight? I don't eat red meat only fish and chicken. It is so hard for me to gain some weight :(

  • Hi, try eating more calorie dense foods to your diet as well as healthy fats. Things like peanut butter, or any nut butter you prefer, nuts, add olive oil to your salads. Be sure you are getting enough carbs like whole grain pastas and rice. You may want to try adding protein shakes as well. Ultimately, you will have to consume more calories than you burn off in order to gain weight.

  • @YouTips4U thanks alot ! love your videos :)

  • Thank You Very Much!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

  • Thank you for this terrific video

  • You're very welcome! I'm so glad you like it :o)

  • I really enjoyed this and found it helpful to keep things in perspective. I am a Weight Watcher's member and have lost 30 lbs. I still am going to put the bear on my fridge as a reminder. Thank you so much for the great tips. I look forward to your videos. Also, I follow your blog, but for some reason, I can't post there. I've tried numerous times with no luck. Thanks again for all your help!

  • Hi, thanks so much for your support. I'm so glad you like the video and will keep the food bear nearby as a reminder. I'm not sure why you are unable to post a comment on my blogspot. I will definitely look into that. Be sure that you are a follower of the blog as you have to join to comment. Thanks again!

  • What a great video! I had an eating disorder for 8 years, and when I recovered, I put on a ton of weight. After trying several diets and putting on even more weight, I did some research and discovered my metabolism had slowed down. Since I already exercised a lot and followed a healthy diet, I figured I'd try the 5 small meals a day. I haven't lost any weight yet, but I feel much more energized! Love the food bear -- I'm going to print it to remind myself to eat more protein and grains!

  • Hi, congratulations on overcoming your eating disorder. That's so wonderful. I think you will definitely see results with the five smaller meals. Give it time because your body has to adjust and you're right, it's the best path to higher energy and just feeling so much better. So much of that is about keeping your metabolism revved and your blood sugar stable. Thanks so much for sharing :o)

  • I'm going to try the food bear, thanks so much for showing us about the food bear I need to loose alot of weight and I know this will help me, thanks again !

  • Great video thanks for sharing. Enjoy your weekend

  • My bear would have one ear because I am Vegan! Poor bear ha ha :)

(milk industry is the reason for Veal so I stay away and male chicks get minced ALIVE! so I stay away from eggs aswell.).

Great video for balance and meal planning. xx

  • Your talk of pasta made me think of a video idea for you. I love pasta, especially bolegnese. We try to fill ours with good foods, but I never know if theres enough vegetables to make a portion. Could you do a video showing how to add more vegetables and fruits to our favourite meals? (I also try and add lots of mushroom because it is actually classed asa portion of veg/fruit)

  • You are talented at talking to an audience I wish we were taught by you in my health class (:

  • Hi, thanks so much for your very kind compliment! I really appreciate it :o)

  • what advice would you have for over snacking? how do i distract myself?

    thankyou!

    great video btw!

  • @ThePassionFruit11

Whenever you feel hungry or like you want to snack, get yourself a glass of water. It gives you something to consume, but it is healthy, and plus you may be surprised how satisfied you are with just water. Many people hear their tummy grumble a little and they dash for food, but your tummy can make some noise if you are just thirsty as well.

  • Hi, if you like to snack then have smaller meals throughout the day would work great for you. Keep them healthy and from the food groups that I discuss with the food bear. So instead of reaching for chips or candy, reach for yogurt or a piece of fruit. Try to make better choices. Before you snack, ask yourself, "am I hungry". If not, then have a glass of water, perhaps with a squeeze of lemon and move on to do something else. If you are hungry and need a pick-me-up reach for a healthy food.

  • @YouTips4U

Thankyou for replying! I'll try to control myself a little more and just try and think whether i really am hungry or not and if i really need to i'll go healthy! =D

  • This is great! Simplistic, yet effective! Love it, fantastic plan.

  • love this:)
