Wow. Haven't heard this since she sang it live. I did NOT judge this fairly the first time I heard this becuase I was blown away with Locke's performance of it. The power of Locke's voice. I agreed with the judges when they said Locke's singing of it was like a singing master class and so I thought Tamyra's was lackluster but I was sooo WRONG. I love her interpretation of this song. She chose original moments to be soft and subtle and then powerful. BRILLANT job Tamyra!!!

The show couldn't get any better than Tamyra (and Kelly), and the show became way over-hyped after Season I. But she is beautiful and a major vocal talent. I just saw her in RENT three days ago. She was truly amazing. Her Without You gave me the chills, I swear... She has great stage chemistry with Adam Pascal, who is back for a month and created the role of Roger. ..He was in the movie, OBC and everything.
