@btwall60 I don't understand why some people call the democrats lefties. I have read a lot of things about the Democrats and in Europe we definitely would call them liberals. So here in Europe they would belong more to right than to left. As far as I can see this is a argument between a tempered-right and a far-right party.

You have your opinion, and I have mine. That is always the argument from those on the "right", that you are pointing out the record of a leftist. That is simply nonsense. In my opinion, all the "right" loves to do is promote fear, and project this propaganda of "we are true americans, and they are facists or socialists, and everything else but, Americans. The U.S. is the only country in the world that promotes the tearing down of its' government and its' leader. No unity!

You, and others like you, try to make those of a different political viewpoint out to be unpatriotic and not an American, which is preposterous.
