In the 30's for example where my dad grew up, there were dames, ladies of the posh manors and the men who either owned them or tended the grounds. I am one of those uptight parents obsessed with with raising a sheltered kid, prepared for the real world. This video is not racist. But I must say it is bizzare.
The sheep is not black, his wool is purple, and he looks like a cow. He even sucked on a pipe.
Quite surreal.
My daughter enjoyed it also, although she did ask about the cow-sheep person who smoked like her dad.

exactly, black sheeps are oddity like u jus said, and black ppl were seen to be odd for the white ppl during the slavery times. black ppl were knw as 'cotton pickers' in the southern united states who used to work for white ppl, hence, d master (hu they used to call white men), d dame and d little boy hu lives dwn the lane (white ppl). if it wasnt racist then they wouldnt have changed the lyrics now.

In the 30's for example where my dad grew up, there were dames, ladies of the posh manors and the men who either owned them or tended the grounds. In a town that was all white (only) my dad (a while kid) was a little boy who lived down the lane. Who was the lower class. He wasn't born in a hospital but in that tiny house.
It Originates from ENGLAND. Not U.S.
It's just as likely to be about the Wool Tax of 1275.

The problem is, when people of other ethnicities start to find rascism in things like this, they're perhaps the ones creating it...which in turn means they took something innocent and changed it - hence becoming the rascist person themself!
