  • I wish I could join these guys at IHOP...

  • @RayZon97... What about the first commandment, NO gods before me? What about worshipping a false idol? According to judaism, christians are guilty of both. What makes christianity more valid than judaism... or islam, or hindu, or shinto, or vodun, for that matter? The belief in ANY god in the 21st century is madness, a form of insanity.

  • Forcing kids to read the christian bible would help them avoid being sucked into that religious ignorance and intolerance. People who believe in the book rarely know more than a few verses.

  • that was the old law of the land.... Jesus later comes and destroys the law.

but i do think the christian caller was pretty stupid and a christian should only challenge an atheist if he has full knowledge of his argument....

  • @RayZon97 god of yesterday is the god of today is the god of tomorrow.

  • @RayZon97 Jesus never came to destroy the law of the OT, where did you get the idea that he did?

  • ATHEIST 1 - RELIGIOUS FOLKS 0. To bad the show had to end, I was interested in hearing his reaction. knowledge is power and that was a powerful swift kick to the nuts to that caller lol.

  • Christians can't act like this because we don't allow them to behave like that. When Christianity had free rein over Western Society, they did behave in similar fashion.

  • so which ihop do they eat at?

  • You dont believe it because you dont read your own stupid book. You just listen to the nice bits the preachers throw out at you. Imagine how different church would be if they chose passages at random to talk about instead of dishonestly ignoring all the child murder and genocide (except the Flood because that one reads like a fun story so people can ignore the fact that all the children and babies on earth died in horror because god fucked up).

  • Some "real christians" like to have a good old fashioned fag drag. They tie a rope around the waist of a suspected homosexual and drag them from a truck or police cruiser until they're nothing but a pelvis wearing a belt. That's worse than stoning.

  • @TheCraich I don't deny that people who follow the bible literally would do that, but my problem with that is....I have no idea how you can tie a rope around somebody's waist without them noticing...

  • the difference we have people who know religion is wrong in some aspects thats why we seperate church from state so we dnt live like when in the dark ages..and this guy got ownedut

  • hey i hear (nice) bible stories in school for the first 4/5 year of my education and i figured out god was impossible as a little child, why can't you as an educated christian adult!?

  • Cool, the Grateful Dead and The Atheist Experience in the same video!

  • My mom was talking on the phone, so I couldn't hear anything, but then i saw the "transcribe subtitles" button. Quite entertaining :)

  • Ever notice how former Christians (like Matt or myself) seem to know the Bible better than the believers do? I guess that makes sense, since it's easier to believe if you think the Bible is just the Sermon on the Mount and the Good Samaritan, and not a whole lot of genocide and cruelty and general absurdity.

  • @ianat841 lol im trying to read it but its so looooooooooooooooooong

  • Grateful Dead FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm surprised. They actually mentioned the verse that has to do with sleeping with animals.

I wonder if they consider zoophilia/bestiality to be an issue of civil rights, as I do. If not, I wonder why he specifically mentioned that passage.

I think I shall call in and ask sometime. I guess it's not a "religious" issue, but it is an issue that is heavily influenced by religious thinking, even among those who do not identify as any religion (like those who cling to ideas like "it's unnatural").

  • @Clawdragoons "I wonder if they consider zoophilia/bestiality to be an issue of civil rights, as I do." That's an interesting remark. Do you think that sex with animals is acceptable? I do not, not because of the emotional reaction I have towards that concept (disgust and revulsion) but because such acts cause unnecessary suffering to animals. I don't think you can make a case for liberating the bestiophiles any more than you can for pedophiles.

  • @labrat1807 I disagree that animals suffer as a result. I think that, in the right circumstances, not only can they consent, but they can actively enjoy such contact.

Here's a video I've seen on the topic that discusses zoophilia, and more specifically how animals are able to consent:

    watch?v=5eUn0Zmh7NI

I don't think this video is the best place to argue the topic, but I would gladly discuss it with you over PMs, or on that video, if you'd like.

  • @labrat1807 I would rather not discuss it further. You make the exact same arguments as pedophiles. We can never know what harm might be done in the long and short terms to animals when people have sex with them. Therefore the default position is the one of least risk - leave the animals alone. I'm sorry but I find the whole subject very distasteful. Goodbye.

  • yes, the results of Islam are worse than Christianity in todays world ..Yes, the results of Muslim theology is much more devastating to women. Yes, Islam is even more backwards. I completly agree. Thats a very odd defense though...'"hey, they're worse than us"

  • A lot of people dont know that during the christianization of Europe, christians were exactly how muslim extremists are today. if you didnt accept their religion, you'd be killed. this is what led to the viking raids. again, most peope think that vikings were mindless, bloodthirsty brutes because they would raze and pillage towns. but those towns were all christian towns. the vikings would actually steal the money back from the churches and give it back to the people. kinda like Robin Hood.

  • @TheOdinSeeker

That's because in their minds, Christianity is a western religion. Nevermind that Christianity and Islam derive from the same region of the world; the same culture! It's only after centuries of rational people, under threat of persecution and death, reigning Christianity in. Now they claim this victory as their own! "We are a religion of peace and love."

Now they mount that moral high horse and look down on the very people who shaped them as they are.

  • What makes being gay right?

  • @TristanTroll You have troll in your username. No one is going to take the bait.

  • @JamesHLanier they should. It is some damn good bait, especially if he turns out NOT being a troll.

  • @TristanTroll What James said

  • @TristanTroll

    i'm gonna feed the troll.

    you sir are an asshole

  • @TristanTroll Anyone who has troll in their user name is a fail troll

  • @TristanTroll What makes being gay wrong? It's not an addiction, it's chemicals in your biology, which was there from birth.

  • @TristanTroll LOL rite!! SooOOooO edgy having troll in your name xD xD XP

  • @TristanTroll what makes it wrong?

  • @visit365 If you ask her, most likely because the Bible says so.

  • matt blocked me & called me a troll wow im cut soooo deep lol

SonLifeTV on time warner, digital tv chnl 17.3 & the dish network ALL over Austin, Texas!

  • Haha wtf Grateful Dead? Right on brothers!

  • putting homosexuals to death was under Gods old economy law (old testament) Jesus fulfilled the laws which the "law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus" supersedes all other laws which is forgiveness & mercy while its still wrong & sinful we are to love them & pray for them just as we are to pray that nonbelievers get Saved(accept Jesus as their savior)

  • @62Elvis

so you shouldn't follow the 10 commandments?

  • @minderbart1 "following" the ten commandments is old testament God knew in advance that people couldnt "keep the law" perfectly, only Jesus did that; Jesus fulfilled the law & all laws, in essence He is the law, i.e. the law of Love & mercy

the ten commandments were a schoolmaster to show the world how much sinful man needs Jesus Christ who Is the fulfilment of all biblical ordinances & precepts.

  • @62Elvis

so let me get this straight.. he commissioned a law consisting of ten commandments(ignoring for the moment the other 603) punishable by death, knowing full in advance people wouldn't follow it, causing the deaths of thousands, so he could send someone who would follow it to show people compassion and love?

    ..............

    really?

your god is a bit of an ass isn't he?

  • Damn it Youtube. No video is loading right now.

  • Let's discuss existence over some pancakes and 5 choices of syrup

  • Comment removed

  • Any "Intelligent" person would "know" that the Book of the Word of God that he read those versus from was Originally Written as "Rules of Morality" for the Isrealite preists, whom by the way were "Levites". These Preists set these God Given Rules of Morality into practice for the Levites AFTER the Isrealite were delivered from The Pharoah and Egypt by Moses, to put them on the Path of Richeosness! HENCE "LEVITICUS"!!! Yet Again, Athiests Taken TWofG out of Context!!! Or is it simply IGNORANCE?

  • @crazy77iii Any intelligent person might come a smidgeon closer to spelling "Isrealite", "preists", "Pharoah", and "Richeosness" correctly. One might thing you would be more familiar with these words if you actually read this book you insist on blurbling about at length.

Perhaps it is simply IGNORANCE, eh?

  • @crazy77iii How is that out of context? He still told people to do this

  • @eulerkaku Okay, First it wasn't Moses that told this to the Levites. It was the Laws givien by the Israeli (Levites) Priests to the Levite community after being delievered from egypt and After the Building of their Tabernacle. This was to set them on a path of moral purity after being exposed to the Pharroah for so long. THIS video is making it seem like the Bible is Telling us to do that TODAY!? And it's NOT. Leviticus is a simple Account of that time. Not For Current Instruction.

  • @crazy77iii I thought God's word was absolute. Are you saying his words don't apply to the modern world anymore?

  • @eulerkaku Nope. Just saying that for this subject (i.e. saying that the bible tells us to kill homosexuals) the people in the video are wrongly accusing the bible of telling us that we are to kill homosexuals. The Bible tells us that in Leviticus chptr 20, that God Told Moses to tell the Levites, that were delivered from Egypt, that those were the Laws. Reason is, that they were Subjected to these ways in Egypt. God wanted to Seperate the Levites from that and Lead them away from that Stuff.

  • @crazy77iii Just because he told people back then doesn't mean he never told somebody to kill men for having sex with other men

  • @crazy77iii Then why didn't the Bible simply add a footnote for future reference for clarity? You can easily provide convoluted rationale to support almost any claim, but is it reasonable? By such logic, homosexuality isn't a sin, as it "no longer applies."

God's absolute word must not be so absolute, considering the number of modern Christian denominations. Gee.

  • @Elena9525 "God's absolute word". The Bible [Does Not] say that it's "Impossible" to create another religion or to change the words in the Bible. It merely States that it's Punishable (meaning one will have to answer to God in the Afterlife for that) and that God's Word (i.e. Spoken Word and Message) will Forever Reign!!! nothing less, Nothing more! This is why Many people have a Wrong impression of [what] the Bible Says. Being the "scouffers" claiming "Fail" for lack of reading in Context!

  • @crazy77iii So your implying his true word was to murder homosexuals and we will go to hell if we change that...? Seems legit

  • @ZombineVelancious Ok, real fast about something I missed I wanted to add on here.

Since changing the word of the Bible would be bad...and people take things literally as it is in the Bible...then it's basically telling us to kill homosexuals still. It's still responsible for the word it has preached and yet it's still nice to know that God you worship is a genocidal jealous spirit. Me and him should seriously meet one day to discuss that.

  • @ZombineVelancious Evidently you didn't read my posts... Because I'm not Implying or saying that at all. Neither is the Bible.

The Quote from the the Book of Leviticus in the Bible:

"Men that lay with Men are to be put to death" Was for the Israelis (Levites, Hence the Name of the Book) delivered from Egypt by Moses in the Book of Exidus, Hence the name. It was Not For Modern Instruction. And the Bible States that if the BIble is altered, there be Judgement for it, By God! Men that

  • @ZombineVelancious The Bible also states that if anyone "Acts" no their homosexual "feelings" then they will have to answer for that, being that it's a sin. Like every sin that "anyone" commits, every Answers to God, before the throne in the Afterlife. This is My belief. YOU nore anyone else has to choose to believe it as I do. Do a Google Search for: "Pascals Wadger"

  • @crazy77iii A wrong impression of what the Bible says? That still leaves an awkward question lingering. Why are there so many denominations and interpretations of the Bible? It's common sense, but... Interpretation is subjective. Liberal Christian ideology may be able to survive repeated demotions as historical and scientific knowledge advances (Noah's Ark being allegorical, et cetera), but are those liberal, allegorical interpretations correct or incorrect? Why?

  • @Elena9525 You answered your own question, to a point. Unfortunately the Bible is Partially Subjective to interpretation. I say partially becasue I believe that if one truly Prays Have proper understanding of the Bible, I believe that the Holy Spirit will give them proper interpretation... Some people read the Bible without praying beforehand and this may be the reason for the Subjective interpretation. There is Pretty substantial proof of Noah's Ark, the Rock from which water came forth, etc.

  • @crazy77iii Humans are emotional creatures. When they believe something, they tend to let their emotions dictate and reign. Patriotism, religious devotion... It's so saddening. Islamic fundamentalists say the same thing -- "If you can't reason that God exists and can't reason that Allah is the one true way, you're doomed to an eternity in Hell."

Substantial proof of the Genesis flood? Um, no. There's not a single shred of geologic evidence in support of a worldwide flood. At all.

  • @Elena9525 There's a Difference.. The Quran also DIRECTLY states Claims Against Christianity itself in it. Not Just a General "No Other Gods Before me" as the Bible Does. I Never said anything About a "World Wide Flood" as you claim that I did... BUT if you want to get on that Subject... You do understand that Fossils are Mainly Found in "Sedimentary Rock", Right? You do understand that For a Fossil to be created, Something has to be Burried Rappidly!! It's Ironic that it's like this Everywhere.

  • @crazy77iii What accounts from Biblical scripts? If you think vague, hit-or-miss historical correspondance is "proof" of the legitimacy of a claim so incredibly extraordinary as God, you're being willfully ignorant of the full spectrum of the debate. Your claim that there exists proof of the Genesis flood is the quintessential epitome of this.

Research evidence for the flood. Then, research evidence against it. Compare and contrast what's more reasonable. Predisposition is -bad-.

  • @Elena9525 Ark, Flood (i.e from fossils), Water Flowing From LARGE Split Open Rock show proof of errosion from the center, Shallow underwater Bridge in the Red Sea Right where It states that Moses Crossed it in the Bible, Sacrificial Alters Found where stated in the Bible, Site of Sodom and Gomorrah found, etc.... Do I need go on? I"m sure that you can find this stuff online with a minor bit of digging. I nevere said that these account Proved God. ONLY the accounts from the BIble.

  • @crazy77iii showing that things in the bible actually happen doesnt mean the rest of the biblle is true, why cant you morons understand this? spiderman had new york in the comics, yet this doesnt make spiderman real, you christians are like mentally retarded children after a lobotomy

  • @wearestarstuffsagan Showing that Mutations Happen and Animals Adapt, doesn't prove that Evolution Happened. People that claim athiesm are typically Evoluotists as well. Point being is that The Events of the Bible were recorded at one Point. So all that dismiss them all as being "Fariy Tales", now have no reason to dismiss the More Popular of the events that are tpyically discussed. Therefore proving to doubters that there is some truth to Bible leading to the Belief that there could be more.

  • @crazy77iii animals adapting IS evolution, of coarse it doesnt show that all life is related but it demonstrates that change in organisms through mutations and natural selection is possible, and since literally, not figuratively, but literally EVERY piece of observed science we have supports evolution and literally not one piece is against the theory so its not reasonable to say it didnt happen.

  • @wearestarstuffsagan well the Fossil record doesn't prove it. it may support it AFTER the fossils are Put into Morphological order. but the Fossils themselves have no order at all.

  • @crazy77iii there are atheists who dont accept evolution, in fact, there are more christians who accept the theory than there are atheists. yes, there is some truth in the bible, but most of it (including ALL the supernatural claims) are false. just because some things in the bible are true means we dont have reason to non believe the other things in the bible? star wars had some facts in it, i guess its not logical to doubt the rest of it according to you

  • @wearestarstuffsagan If you mean in sheer numbers more christians believe in evolution than atheists that MAY BE possible (doubtful) because there are so many more of them, but I would guarantee that the actual percentage of people who are atheists that believe in evolution is about 99% and the percentage of christians maybe less than 25%

  • holly shit men you are so freaking right XD, but now seriously there's alot of christian that belive in evolution but im an atheist and i belive in creationism lol. but ether way i dont belive in a god i belive in every religion in the world, i think they all are practically saying the same thing only in different ways, i belive in religion only i interpret it in a different way. i would guess the right way.

  • @SuperAndroidTV the whole "i believe in every religion in the world" thing is complete nonsense no matter if you "interpret" them differently or not

  • not really bro, if you read a little bit about the ancient astronaut theory a little bit you wouldnt be saying that it at least makes you think in a new point of view, gee. its so hard to live a comment this days on youtube lol but now seriously.

  • im not saying that evolution is wrong but why does creationism have to, i belive in bouth, there is evidence stronger evidence for creationism then evolution, i belive we where made by extraterrestrial, sounds weird i know but there is so much strong evidence for it became a science, ufo ology, XD that is so freaking funny but true. look for the ancient astronaut theory. look at thes theory, its call ancient aliens look at the first episode if U like it look for some more :P

  • @SuperAndroidTV dude there is more evidence or evolution

  • what ever dude, so far i seen more evidence for creationism but whatever has more evidence ether way the ancient astronaut theory is really good i, you should really give it a look it will be very intertaning :P it will if you like history and science.

  • @SuperAndroidTV What is the evidence for creationism?

  • very good question i don't belive in a god but i do belive in religion but i can't answer you the question like that cause i dont know the evidence by memory. You see i belive we where made by extraterrestrial but not by a god cause there is no evidence for one or that he created us, now look at thes series and tell me that isn't true its call

(Ancient Aliens) U may think im saying shit and that im crazy but just give it a look, i can a shore you the first eps U see will at least make U think.

  • @SuperAndroidTV There is no evidence that we were created by aliens...

  • @SuperAndroidTV Not saying that i think we're "created" by extraterrestrials...but i found it easier to believe that we may have descend from extraterrestrials then we were created in 6 or 7 days... roflmao.

The real point is, even if you're wrong, you're at least trying to get some real/factual evidence (even they're completely wacked out) and not just believing in stuff cse ppl say so or a book told you too.

Bad explanation is better then none.

  • yeah, i guess. But im not guessing, there are wierd facts that will surprise you, but ass much ass i would like to keep talking about this subject just look at the series and tell me its impossible what they are saying. its call Ancient Aliens.

  • @SuperAndroidTV Im definetely gonna check it out.

Even if i dont find it to be true or something...im pretty sure its gonna be very entertaining and its always good to have a new view of something ;D specially if its not like "this is cse i said so and u gonna burn in hell" but based on rational demonstrations (or at least an attempt to ^^)

    Thnx for the sharing.

  • well just add me as a you tube friend, once you finish watching the whole thing i highly recommend at least 3 or 4 eps, but once u see the first i think you are just going to want to watch it all seasons and eps. i also want to be there once you get shock and say that it most likelly could be it, ;D. YEAH !!! Im so inspired im going to watch an episode right now.

  • did you watch some eps and if so then how it was?

  • @SuperAndroidTV I didnt have time yet to check it out =X

Im "godlike" busy this month =X kinda very harsh time these days =X

  • xD you telling me, i got a project that is do till tomorrow, its so long they give me a month an like about 2 or 3 days, havent started yet. but i can still do it in a day. Im to smart for my teacher. XD. hey since i want to see your face once you see the shoking evidence just give me you'r facebook and will talk there :) its so hard to find pleasent people this days :) will talk there i guess there.

  • @SuperAndroidTV I dont use social networks cse i hate to expose my personal life =D. I just have an youtube account cse its necessary to reply comments and stuff.

  • do you need to put you stuff about you in an email and if you do well what ever, just put a fake email. do you have ps3

  • @SuperAndroidTV I just have this Youtube account tbh.

My email is just for professional purposes.

I have no ps3 or any videogames watsoever =D my free time is too short for videogames =D

  • gee damn, isnt there a way that you and i can chat with out have to sending comment by comment. like just keep chating and not have to wait for the comment to arive, do you have MSN messenger somthing like that. DX

  • so did ya see it, if so what you think.

  • @SuperAndroidTV you said, "You see i belive we where made by extraterrestrial but not by a god cause there is no evidence for one or that he created us" I have ONE question for you, who created the extraterrestrials that created us?

  • or convice you by a out standidng blow.

  • now, im not saying evolution is fake, it is real, but what you are about to see is something you cant reject unless you are stupid, ignorent or just dont want to admit the truth. enjoy the series.

  • search on google about the episode list because episode 1 really isn't 1 its episode 0, dont ask me why they put it like that.

  • @SuperAndroidTV Only a DUMB ASS believes there's more evidence for creationism than for evolution.

  • then i guess ,lots of people are dumb. Bro i just seen more evidence for creationism thats all, and im not saying there isnt evidence for evolution, theres a lot. but im not saying that it was a god who created us. im an atheist as well but there some weird and interesting stuff going on in human life, not everything in the bible or in ancient text has to be a lie, something is going on with the ancient world that we just dont get see the series call anciet aliens youll know what i mean.

    :)

  • look bro i dont want any problems so lets take it cool here and no calling names, who made them or created? as weird as it made sound nobody really know's but im just saying something weird happen at the past that science cant find a logical explenation to. It's taken a wild to make up some logical theory's that explain how the pyramid and other megalythic structures in the ancient world where made, there's one theory the explains how they put the heavy stone in place in the pyramid .....

  • your hands would ript of and the logs would get crush, :) now, 1 tone would be 2,000 pounds search it up on google or something if you dont now exacly :-) and some stone in the egypician pyramid would be 1 or 2 tones and some stones in other places around the pyramid that weight some where around 130 tones witch i would imagen 10 or less tone is way more the enough to crush a log to roll it into place now thats just on egypt theres othere crazy weird places like mexico.

  • @SuperAndroidTV I'm assuming they would have used plenty of logs to support one stone. Do you even know the density of the tree they used? Look this data up, and let's do some math together. I'm sure the results will be interesting.

  • let me just point out that there's some stone weighing in as much as 100,000 and some surprisingly 280,000 tones and who knows theres probably more, and theres some stone with that kind of weight that is on top of some megalythic structures, the question is how did they did it and how did does stone with 10th of thousands of tones got up there, there comes a time for theory's that things get so imposible theory's need a new way to explain how it happen, theory's need to also get imposible ......

  • theory's need to also get imposible i guess, LOL but is so far the weirdes and most explanatory theory would be the ancient astronaut theory and the reason why scientis is not accepting much of the theory right now is because it sounds weird, crazy and imposible so why science want to accept it. Some how the ancient people knew more of what we give them credit for and as weird as it may sound why does it have to be impossible its weird but so as planets on other solar system

  • its weird but so as planets on other solar system yet we found some and got use to the idea of planet in other stars. look ether way you can ether live me belive in what i want to belive and ask no question or ask me why i belive in it and ill tell you the way atheist wants it, it wont not be the same stupid christian answer, have faith. Well dont have faith as an atheist you want evidence so instad saying i belive but dont show you any evidence im ganna give you evidence.

  • you want evidence just watch ( ANCIENT ALIENS ) all you have to do is watch 1 episode and as an atheist think logical, watch the first one and if you are still not convince by the first one the watch anothe and if still so the just keep watching if by the 10th you still not at least start thinking ( well hmm may be they really did it may be they didn't ) then your are ether an idiot or your a genius, why cause an idiot after all of that evidence you are rejecting it and a genius because .....

  • note most archaeologist think that the ancient people where help by another intalligent race :)

  • @SuperAndroidTV that is crazy talk. Nutjobs like von Daniken believe that, but actual archeologists don't think they got "outside help".

  • @SuperAndroidTV stop commenting, nobody cares what you have to say, most disagree with you anyway.

  • im just saying it's my opinion dude.

  • @SuperAndroidTV You mean the Jews?

  • BTW the first episode would be episode 0 not 1, weird but go look at the eps list in google.

  • @mythicalhell Motherfucker, suck my motherfucking dick, you stupid fool moron!

  • @PresidentChristopher You just proved his point. He didn`t present any evidence to support his claims, therefor, neither would you need any to say "you`re wrong", but knowing you got none whatsoever, you chose the incompetent`s last resort: violence.

    You lose.

  • srry for the bad grammar, really need to work on that. but can you blame me, i dont come from US and dont speak to much english

  • if you haven't seen it then the first episode isn't really episode 1 is episode 0 cero weird but yeah. enjoy. oh and comment me

  • look at the series call ancient aliens, it isnt a theory is a series explaining the ancient astronaut theory or you may call it ancient alien theory, it also explains how ome megalythick structures where mad in the ancient times and i belive thatbetter then does theorys on how the pyramids where made, is stoger, AD IMEAN STRONGER evidence thn does othere theory's the theory also shows you the evidence 2 type's of evidence, the ones you can read and the ones you can see.

  • note that some are hard to under stand and some mite not make so much sense but there are some that challenge you to say that it isnt true, it challenge you to say that it couldn't be that is fake and that they could have done it with out technology it challenge you to not belive it. lol anyways good day to you again comment me.

  • @wearestarstuffsagan So quit Scouffing and move on...

  • @Elena9525 By Jumping Straight to the Conclusions that you are shows that you might not be capable of holding a proper conversation, Not a "Debate"... YOu seem to be jumping right into the Same ole Rebuttles that most in your position do. not a good way to start a Cival Conversation with anyone... The whole reason to even reply to this Video was state my case as a Believer in the Truth of the Bible not the lies in this Video. (i.e. Bible tells us to kill Gays). You replied to me!!! not Vise Vrsa

  • @crazy77iii How -can- you trust some of the bullshit in the Bible? The Ark of the Covenant was an absolute obscene testimony to the Bible's inconsistency between its Old and New Testaments. And, physical, ritual sacrifice (Jesus Christ) to magically transfer "the sin" from everyone to someone else? Why does an omnipotent God need "rituals" (which exist in a million ancient cultures and pagan and mainstream religions) to begin with? At what point does it break down and become stupid?

  • @Elena9525 The point at which the only things Breaks down and becomes Stupid, Is continuing the Conversation with you because you clearly don't have any clue as to how to Study the Bible and are only interested in Scouffing. Why don't you Make an Athiest Bible instead of trying (cause it won't happen) to disprove the WORD OF GOD and Acting Completely Inapropriate on the internet just because you are pissed at how your Bitterness has made you an angry at the world person. I feel sorry for you.

  • @crazy77iii Talk about argumentum ad hominem.

Anyway. Notwithstanding, you're probably just researching "evidence" from Answers in Genesis, CARM, or another baloney, laughable website with little to no scientific foreknowledge. You need to become scientifically literate. Then, you need to compare evidence for and against a claim you're trying to make. There is no credible evidence -- at all, period, end of story -- for a Genesis flood. At all. None.

  • @crazy77iii Yes, I'm jumping to the point -- that there's as much ludicrous baloney in the Bible as there is historical accuracy.

By the way, historical accuracy doesn't "prove" anything. Although, in all fairness, the Bible has its (extremely large) share of inconsistencies, both small and large. By such logic, I can research history, create an ancient text revolving partially around historic events, and brand it as a legitimate testimony to my religion.

    See where I'm coming from?

  • @crazy77iii "Angry"? I'm only being frank and succinct. Historical accuracies (and inaccuracies) can be found in the Qur'an, too. I'd be delighted to give examples. Is it going to "prove" anything to you? No, because you express an emotional attachment to your cherished belief. Human beings are emotional creatures that tend to follow in their parents' footsteps -- authority figures.

Human nature can easily explain why so many people believe in so many religions.

  • @crazy77iii "Atheist Bible." That made me laugh. :P

  • @crazy77iii There's also the seemingly little-known fact that there's no contemporary evidence that Jesus existed, which is addressed well in one of the Atheist Experience videos. Oral tradition and stories of stories do not constitute "evidence" for anything. Notice how rumors that are passed along tend to change completely after they've changed hands. Same concept. Same baloney.

    "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."

  • @crazy77iii If some morally righteous guy decides that a particular Bible verse is fucked up and takes it allegorically if it's meant literally, is that guy really going to be "punished" for genuine belief? Why does something so unbelievably petty even matter? As long as you're genuinely devoted deep down and thoroughly convinced, and as long as you feel obligated to "do good" because of that, would God really punish you for believing Noah's Ark was baloney?

  • @Elena9525 (Continued...) There are numerous finds that support accounts from the Biblical Scripts.

"Punished for genuine Belief?" I'm not following what you're getting at. Everyone will have to answer for their sins. I believe in the Book of John Ch3 vs16... So even some that sin will be with God in the Afterlife. Some will not (refer to the verse quoted above.). what is this petty matter that you are speaking of? I'm not following. Sorry about that.

  • @Elena9525 "Genuinly Devoted", this is a great point. I believe (not everyone does) that one has to accept Jesus as their Savior. I don't believe that one will fail to be with God in the afterlife by not believing in an Account in the Bible. BUT how can one have Real Faith if they don't trust in waht the bible says? Taking into consideration they don't take it out of context....

  • @crazy77iii Your statement to supposedly refute God's commandment was confusing. The accusation is that God at one point commanded people to kill homosexuals. You saying that God only commanded the Levites isn't a counterexample

  • @eulerkaku Sorry, but you need to watch the Video again! They flat out say that the Bible Tells (implying Currently) us to kill gays NOW! And that's a Flat out Lie or a Stupid Misunderstanding by them! I was not wrong. You misunderstood the video. I said that the Levites were told that any Levite man that lays with another man is to be killed. And THAT'S waht the Bible Says. NOT for Christians to kills Gays in Current times. If someone can't somprehend that, then they have deeper issues.

  • @crazy77iii Look, if it is wrong to kill homosexuals now then why is it just to kill homosexuals when you are a Levite? This is the main point that is being made. Bible commands immoral acts. I don't think the context helps the situation

  • @eulerkaku I understand your point. I will agree that I don't understand the reasons that God Commanded this of the Levites. BUT, I think that a lot of people like the gentlemen in this video are taking the context that a verse(s) is/ are in and Misrepresenting it. I honestly don't think that they are making the Case that you are. Like I stated before, the Levites were coming fresh from Egypt and God wanted to Straighten them out on a Path that He felt Suite them best "At That Time!"...

  • @eulerkaku once again, that was the old Testament and for a time when things needed to be taken care of by God. I can't explain the reasons that God deos what he does or the lack there of.. BUT, It's "my" choice to believe that. my Whole point for commenting on this Video was to state that these men are Claiming that the Bible Tells us to Kill Gays TODAY! And it DOESN'T Period. It doesn't matter to me nore should it to anyone else what God Decided to request of the Levites back then. Understand?

  • @crazy77iii It is your choice to believe it and I respect your belief. However, I do expect a consistency exist in your beliefs. It does matter what he said because if he did tell the Levites to murder homosexuals then that would be indicative of a rather morally bankrupt deity. By mentioning that God did what was right at that time then you would have to say that murdering people for their sexuality is okay in certain situations

  • @eulerkaku Thank you for the respect! It's greatly appreciated and rare these days... unfortunately. This was something Specifically requested by God. not just "a Deity". I don't question why God makes the decisions that he does and I feel that I have no right. Now, just because he told Moses to tell this to Levites, Deosn't even mean that any gays were caught in the act and Killed! So I fdont' see why anyone would even think this whole thing is relevent, other than to Misrepresent the Bible!?

  • @eulerkaku I'm looking at these Scriptures through eye's of Belief that God is the Almighty Creator! These scriptures tell me that God told Moses to tell the Levites that Any "Levite Man that lays with another man" WAS to be killed. Not IS to be killed. There's a big difference! These guys in the video are saying that the Bible tells us to Kill gays. And the Bottom Line is that it doesn't! Does it? No! It tells us that Moses was told to communicate this to the levites of [only] the levties.

  • @crazy77iii My point is that it doesn't matter if the commandment is carried out or even if only one person heard it. If somebody you knew told his friend to kill you for something that hurts nobody else then wouldn't you object to it? The bottom line for me is that if we can not question someone, how would we know if it was all wrong. I would say that murdering people is abhorrent and so even if my father did this then I would say something about it

  • @eulerkaku It wasn't just another person that commanded this.. it was GOD! God Created Man for Women, NOT Man for Man OR Women for Women! Don't think that men would have some type of reproductive organ that could produce children with other men (or a women with a women) if it were not that way? It hurts God! This is why I'm not objecting to it. It wasn't murder, it was Punishment! God's Punishment IF they deliberately Disobeyed him... The Communication was pretence, therefore Teaching!

  • @eulerkaku I could understand it being murder for an innocent person... but if a Child is told Specifically not do something or they will get punished and they do it... I don't know how you were raised or how you raise children but my Childreen get the punishment that was Assigned! It was the same thing in th case of the Levites. Homosexuality is not just some "white lie" (i.e. "I forgot") to God. This is what I don't think that many people understand. Killing as Punishment was an Incentive...

  • @crazy77iii Here we will disagree again. I don't think it is a parent's inherent right to punish children because they break rules. Why does homosexuality matter to God? It doesn't affect anyone else.

I wouldn't beat my child for eternity for disobeying a rule that seems arbitrary. Things can't be bad, just because God says it is. If he is all knowing then surely he has a reason, but what could be the reason to hurt people for how they are born?

  • @eulerkaku once again, I think that you missed the point. the Punishment is for Teaching purposes. If you break the law waht happens? You get punished! I hope that you are not raising children... Proper Sexuality matters to God because he DIDN'T intend for us to be that way! PERIOD! Who are you to decide what is right? God is the Creator and you don't seem to like to have to deal with the thought that you, like everyone else, will have to answer to God in the Afterlife.

  • @eulerkaku Regardless of the fact of whether people are "born gay" or not, it's whether or not one acts on these feelings. THAT is what the difference is. God still Loves them no less than anyone else!? Don't you understand that? People are what makes their lives hell not God!

  • @crazy77iii "Regardless of the fact of whether people are "born gay" or not, it's whether or not one acts on these feelings."

The Devils Advocate scenario, haven't heard that one in awhile.

"People are what makes their lives hell not God!"

The mofia boss scenario, always a good one.

  • @Inclousid not really devils advocate... it's showing that one has a choice... Unless I'm misunderstanding you? You are all about scenarios huh? ;o)

  • @crazy77iii The Devil's Advocate scenario in which god gives men instincts, and then; for his own personal amusement, sets the rules in opposition. Look, but don't touch; Touch, but don't taste; Taste, don't swallow; Be gay, just don't act upon it.

As for choice. A mafia boss moves into your neighborhood, demanding you pay tribute for protection. You don't pay. Next day, your store burns down. Who's choice was it for the store to burn down? According to your beliefs, it was your choice.

  • @Inclousid 1. Homosexuality is IMO, a result of continual disobediance and sin in the world. Therefore acting on ones feeelings that are ultimately an inherited result of this disabediance and sin, there has to be forgiveness asked.

    2. the Differnce between your Mofia boss and God is that God is not Demanding payment. God Gave Payment for mans inevitable sins. The Sacrifice of Christ...

  • @crazy77iii And I'm not all about scenarios. It's simply a matter of fact that Christian responses are so predictable, so dogmatic, so rationalized... that you can provide canned answers to every single one of them.

  • @crazy77iii So God makes people gay but then punishes them if they act on it? lol You're either really stupid or worship a sadistic god. I think you're both.

  • Comment removed

  • @10trojan10 God deosn't make people Gay... THAT is Stupid. Continual Disobediance and Sin of mankind created homosexuals. but I don't expect you to understand that!

  • @crazy77iii You're such an idiot lol

  • @10trojan10 And unfortunately, when you die, your soul will leave your body, and evidentally be Judged before the Almighty Creator and You WILL spend eternity in hell! :o(

  • @crazy77iii I love all you Christians that don't even understand your own book. How does it apply only to Levites? God explicitly states in the Bible he is the same now as he was in the past and will be the same in the future. So if he wanted gays to be killed 2,000 years ago, he would still today. This isn't taking it out of context you dumbass.
