This is the best mod i've ever played ! Finally somewhere where people UNDERSTANDS the meaning of teaming up and help each other on the battlefield, kids hate the game, lonewolves hate it too... That's enough for me to stay addicted to this one for a long time !!!

I played Bf3, liked it but nothing close to PR, people are all trying to get most frags rather than setting a proper defensive position or attacking in an military like perspective more than an brain freeze rush attack !

"Project Reality" yet the RPG's, etc, fire a slow moving projectile. Those things travel at 295 meters per second.. you won't see them "glide through the air". It'll be a boom, boom. Thats it. You dedicate your mod to realism but skip a huge part that makes many movies/game unreal - the speed of the projectiles.

@specterseal999 yeah i played it a while ago and i am reinstalling today its alot of fun. I'm not really sure on how to work steam but in you have regular bf2; download patch 1.5 then go to "project reality downloads" and download the 3 parts of the full client. then you can upgrade for pr.973 or whatever. hope i was helpfull

It is a very rewarding mod but my friends just play cod etc......they think this sucks but they probably have no patience :) see you out there! MEU 26th coop server is what I practise on :)

@NinjaMoose234 Basically spawns are deactivated, except the main base one. You have to grab a logistics truck and build a firebase in order to spawn there. Heavy assets take 20 minutes to respawn and armors must have 2 crewmen (1 gunner 1 driver). Voip is essential. Maps are huge (1km2, 2km2 and 4km2). Weapon restrictions are in place (to prevent having 10 snipers per side) so 2 snipers per team, same for heavy anti tank. Squad restrictions for guns etc. It's ALL focused teamwork.

@nkbsteam Yes, you can play with bots on single player and coop. But coop is not popular, and bots are quite retarded. This mod was not meant to be played alone, but as a team. Single answer: Yes you can play with bots :)

Man, project reality truly is a beautiful mod. I've used it for a few years, and I still think that every new battlefield game is a step back compared to this. The tactics and gameplay mehanics used in this game(yes, I say game, not mod, because it truly is a game because of its innovations) are truly amazing.

Theres also another 5-10 highly active ones that are humans vs bots.

PR is a mod for BF2. You have to own BF2 (which should be cheap online) and then download PR. there are some good articles on how to setup PR if you google it.

Arma 2 is a game by itself, like BF2 but it's famous for being the most realisitic wargame simulator. there is a PR mod for it too that requires arma 2.

So you can play the PR mod on any of these two games. Also apparently theres a complete standalone PR game in developement that doesnt need another game.
