every time a new ff comes out, i hope it feels like ffx, but i dont think thats possible, ffx is in a class of its own, my favorite game forever and ever.

Yuna Turns out to be Lenn's re-incarnation, and after the final battle against Shuyin, Lenn splits from Yuna, and leaves for the Farplane with Shuyin.
Now, the Fayth reward Yuna for saving both them and spira by endign ehr sadness and starting to dream of Tidus again, this time only him in spira. (At least I think that's why he comes back. It makes sense. They explain it in the Perfect ending.) Then He's back for good.
During the course of FFX-2, after the fight with Herritic Ixion, Youna falls into a hole where the fayth should have been, fallign into the Farplane, and meeting the unsent of the person who Tidus was based off of when the Fayth made him, a man named Shuyin, who thinks Yuna is a his love Lenn who had died with him during the battle with Bevelle in Zanarcand 1000 years ago.
Because he is a dream of the Fayth and after they beat sin the Fayth wanted to stop dreaming because they were tired. But if they stop dreaming their dreams will fade, so he went all spirity and faded away.
Yes it does, i tried so hard to play it, largely because of FFX and Curiousity to see that girl Lenny, who she was. But after a while, just couldn't take it anymore.

I love how Yuna just shakes her head, refusing to accept his leaving. It's adorable and soul-crushing at the same time.

Ah, such a beautiful ending. Sad, but beautiful. Let us see this as the end to Final Fantasy X, and ignore FFX-2 for it kills the story.
